A Masterpiece, Jun 24 2004
Despite the fact that this album is one of the most underrated AC/DC albums out there, every track on this album is worth a listen, or most likely a few more. the highlight songs on this album are: Rock n Roll Damnation Sin City Riff Raff Gone Shootin Whats Next to the Moon the production is raw, and this album shows AC/DC on a high pedestal. the lineup is: Angus Young: lead guitar Malcolm Young: rhythm guitar Bon Scott: vocals Cliff Williams: Bass ----- his debut with AC/DC Phil Rudd: Drums

High Energy!, Jan 26 2004
Despite to my first opinions of this album, I've really grown to like it. I think this kind of album grows on you. Much better than BallBreaker definitly. The guitir riffs are catchy and Phill and Cliff have a really solid foundation. Brian's voice isn't what it used to be, but its better in my opinion than on BallBreaker. For age, he's doing great. Great album!

One of my favorites, Jan 18 2004
Contrary to what other people think, i think this is one of my favorite AC/DC albums. Brian Johnson's voice isn't gone (yet), his screams sound better with the songs than they did on Flick of the Switch. Angus's solos fit well with the songs. The rhythm part of the band really holds things down. My favorite tracks are: Fly on the Wall- a great opener: lots of energy Stand Up- a real anthem. the guitar solo fits well. Brians lyrics are nice. Shake Your Foundations- a real 'active' song. every part is always going. Overall this is one of my favorites. I think Brian's voice is better here than on For those about to rock and Flick of the Switch..not so scratchy and annoying.

AC/DC classic, Dec 25 2003
From the first track to the last, this CD sounds the same give or take the lyrics and guitar solos. The regularity gives AC/DC their difinitive sound. All eight tracks have very catchy guitar riffs to them, and Bon's lyrics fit in very well. The drumming done by Phill Rudd is very accurate and never falls behind. The self proclaimed title "let there be rock", not only by announcement, but by each song, shows that the boys are able to make some really good songs. If you're looking for straight-foward rock, this is the record for you.

Great album, Dec 25 2003
This album was globaly released in 1977..save the USA..where it was released in 1981..and i must say, this is one good album. every track on here has its own mood to it..from 'dirty deeds done dirt cheap' which is up in your face and really shows that using three chords is cool..while "ride on" is ac/dc's probably ownly truely "slow" song..still very good song. I recommend this album to any AC/DC fan. however, dont' judge ac/dc by this album..cuz 'highway to hell' and 'back in black' are better albums..but this is about average for them.

One of their Best, Nov 27 2003
In my opinion this album is one of the best by AC/DC. Brian Johnson's voice hits those high notes as if it's something routine, and Angus plays awesome solos on his guitar. Their new drummer for this album is pretty good, although i don't like how the producer somehow managed to drown out angus's solos by the drums. nevertheless, this is a solid album, and definitly should be owned by AC/DC fans.
