What a disappointment!!, Jan 15 2013
I was so looking forward to this book, I love the Stephanie Plum series, but... WHAT A LETDOWN!! It is page after page of the same things happening again and again. Missing from this story is the wonderful humour found in previous books, the catchy dialogue, the colourful personalities. There is not even any happy interaction between Stephanie and her admirers, it is all violence and tedious events. One of the characters is a very short person, is this book showing biases? Never seen this before in previous books. I am not giving up hope, maybe Janet Evanovich's next book will catch some of her previous magic? Please come back with more quality and less violence, violence, violence!!

Enthralling, Sep 5 2011
A captivating story from the first to the last page. All the characters beautifully drawn out living lives that at times amaze you and at times inspire you. Her backgrounds are all beautiful, you can nearly envision her gardens, her home. This is a story of a woman so very much stronger than she herself knew, who had to face the many pitfalls of life and carry on. Of course it is a story of love, but also of relationships, of a mother's hardship and choices, of behaviours and attitudes at the time depicted. It is great to have a story in which a large part of it happens in Tasmania, a place I had not read about in many novels. I loved this story, I do hope this author writes so many more like this!!!

Excitement every time, Aug 19 2011
All the characters are lovable and have traits you can identify with. Lots and lots of sexy moments and lots of affairs, some with love, some without. The humour is always there but also the drama, the suspense with its many cliffhangers and of course the stories. Many of the today dramas are very well depicted and portrayed, insight into the young adult mind and lifestyle You follow the characters, wondering and worrying for them right through. I am waiting for the next season as this one finished in a shock ending for me and I can't wait to know what happened!

Lighthearted fun, Aug 19 2011
Here is a doctor practicing medicine with sophisticated and rich people, at the same time everyone has a story, sometimes funny, sometimes complicated, sometimes sad. The series is lighthearted but so easy to watch and enjoy! The characters diverse, all of them interesting and some very comical. The thread of the story keeps you hanging in wondering what is coming next and hoping it will not finish too soon!

Repetitive, July 15 2011
The characters in this series are well drawn out but they get stunted and do not keep the viewers interest. This series could have been absolutely brilliant with more colour, interest points and backgrounds. For instance the main character always comes home where there seems to be the same exchange among the family characters episode after episode. The mysteries are good, exciting and up to date, so I give my points to these. There is little or no humour, so the story can get dreary.

A wonderful read!, July 4 2011
Here is a story you want to keep reading, even when it is finished. Two sisters, complex lives and all full of comical events and some sad at the same time. A story in the pathway of learning of life and changing to grow into caring persons. Everything happens and it is always full of fun for the reader, maybe not so much for the persons in the story. All the characters you might find in your family or some families you know, so you can enjoy their behaviours. I will read every book Wendy publishes it has given me hours of entertainment and fun!

very handy, Feb 26 2011
This little tool is easy to use, scoops the pips of the lemons (must angle it well) and quickly and efficiently does the job. Easy to clean and easy to store!

Highly entertaining, Dec 2 2010
This series carries all the aspects of television really worth watching. The characters are real, up to date and the relationships all create an atmosphere of "modern family". The suspense in each story holds your interest to the end and captures your imagination. All of the series is kept together with a definite trend of humour created by the events that occur and the comments of the characters. A lovely series, very entertaining in a light happy way. Hope there will be a next season!

Disappointing, Nov 19 2010
The presentation is poor and uninviting, the recipes leave a lot to be desired for. I will not use this book for my Christmas cooking!
