The album that started it all!, July 2 2004
Facelift by Alice In Chains started it all. Grunge began here. So did one of the greatest bands of all time, Alice In Chains. Jerry Cantrell's guitar playing is amazing and so are his lyrics. Michael Starr and Sean Kinney's rythm is tight as always, and Layne Staleys voice sounds as amzing as ever! The album starts off with one of Alice In Chains best songs, 'We Die Young' is hard, heavy, and scary! 'Man In The Box' is next and it just maybe Alice In Chains best song. It has one of Jerry Cantrells best guitar solos. Next is the classic 'Sea Of Sorrow' which is also one of Alice In Chains best songs. 'Bleed The Freak' is one of my all time favorite Alice In Chains songs, its just a killer song! 'I Cant Remember' is another great song, a little slower but still heavy as hell! 'Love, Hate, Love' is a great hard rocker, its kinda crazy though! 'It Aint Like That' doesnt really stand out but its still a really good song. 'Sunshine' is a killer hard rock song with awesome guitar! 'Put You Down' is a strange but good song. 'Confusion' is a really strange song but I love it. 'I Know Something about you' has Beatles-esq lyrics but metal music, is killer! 'Real Thing' is the perfect song to end the album. Buy this you will love it and I can garanty that!!!

This is killer!, July 2 2004
This is one of the very best albums I have ever heard. Its by far the best from the Stone Temple Pilots! STP are the best band out of the grunge movement. This album was the first and best. Scotts voice, performance and lyrics are all amazing. Deans guitar is killer and Robert and Erics rythm is tighter then it ever was again. This album is full of most of the Stone Temple Pilots biggest hits. The album starts off with the classic 'Dead & Bloated' which is the perfect track to open with. Then its right into the absolutly killer 'Sex Type Thing' which is just classic. 'Whicked Garden' Is another killer classic . 'No Memory' is a not so good instrumental. 'Sin' is a great hard rock song. 'Naked Sunday' is different but its still pretty good for a almost funk song. 'Creep' is just a great acoustic song that still played on the radio today. 'Piece Of Pie' is one of the best songs on the album its hard, heavy and fast. 'Plush' is probly the reason your looking at this album its a pure classic. 'Wet My Bed' sucks there is no nice way to put it. 'Crackerman' is another STP classic that is still all over ther radio. 'Where The River Goes' is a perfect song that goes in so many differnt directions, and then ends wear it began. If you love rock then you will love this album, like I said before this is one of the very best albums I have ever heard, its easily in the top twenty albums of all time.

This sucks!, Jun 25 2004
I hate this band. Everytime I hear something good about one of their albums and I go out and buy it I am let down. I bought this and it sucked! 'Creep' is the only halfway good song on the album. I am honestly getting suck of it now and I havent even heard it that much. Radiohead is a band that like the whole world likes or whatever so I am gonna eat sh** for writing this but Radiohead is just a bunch of noises put together through a computer. You people say they sound differnt well they make their music from computers so they sound just like every other crappy band out their. Radiohead says their not prog-rock, well then they are the next best thing. And who ever said that they had good guitar bands and that they are the best guitar band out right now is on crack they are not a guitar band and if they want to hear good guitar players they need to hear Joe Perry, Slash, and Zakk Wylde cause they are the best guitar players out right now!

Velvet Revolver Is The Future Of Rock And Roll!, Jun 22 2004
I mean it. Contraband is one of the best albums I have ever heard. Velvet Rovolver is the future of rock and roll. This band will save the dieing genra. Rock was dead till now. Guns N' Roses, one of the all time greatest hard rock bands of all time, and Stone Temple Pilots one of the greatest bands of all time, and one of my personal favorites. Take these two bands and mix them together and throw in a splash of The Sex Pistols and you have Velvet Revolver. The album starts off with 'Sucker Train Blues' a great hard rocker and one of the better songs on the album. 'Big Machine' is a killer song about the man and how its holding us down. 'Fall To Pieces' is one of the best power ballads I have ever heard and one of the few worthy of the term. Slash's killer guitar playing comes through great here, you can tell its him playing its great! 'Headspace' is a great hard rocker with fast riffs and a cool solo. 'Superhuman' maybe the best song on the album. the riffs and the solo Slash plays are killer. Scotts lyrics are amazing, as only he could right. this song is killer, trust me, the albums worth it for this and 'Slither' alone. 'Set Me Free' the first song the band recorded. It was on the Hulk soundtrack and this is so STP influenced its crazy. But the song is still awesome. 'Slither' the best song along with 'Superhuman' as I said before. The riff is killer, the solo is even better, and Scott is over the top on this one it sjust great! Slither is one of the best songs I have heard in a hell of a long time! 'Dirty Little Thing' is one of the best songs on the album as well. the way Scott sings the chorus is just damn sick! this song is insane! I love it! You must buy this album if you love rock and roll. YOu must buy this album if you Love STP or Guns N' Roses! This is gonna save rock and roll people I am telling you!

The Blessed Hellride is by far the best and heaviest album that Zakk Wylde has put out yet! Its fast its heavy its loud and its actually good, and really good at that. The riffs are crazy and amazing, the guitar solos are mind blowing and the lyrics on this album are the best that Zakk has ever written! 'Stillborn' with the guest apperence from non other then the 'Prince Of Darkness' Ozzy Osbourne. This is one of the better songs on the album, and it was the biggest single. It actually made it on the chart and so did the album and that is just awesome, wait to go Zakk! 'Suffering Overdue' is with out a doubt the best song on The Blessed Hellride. Its fast heavy and insane. The title track 'The Blessed Hellride' is a good song, but it cout have been left off and put on the book of shadows or Hang Over music Vo. 6. This is a really good album by a really talented man so dont miss out!

This is crazy!, May 23 2004
Around The World In A Day is one of prince's most over looked albums of his carear. But Around The World In The Day is also one of Prince's all time best albums. This Dirty Mind, Purple Rain, and 1999 make up Prince's all time best albums. This came out right after Purple Rain, his biggest album, and his classic. the heat had not yet died down from the movie or the album so this is to Prince what Ghoats Head Soup was to The Rolling Stones. It was classic and original but to soon. Around The World In A Day is unlike any other Prince album, it has crazy sound production and over all musical acomplishment. This is a truly original album. The album opens with the strange Beatles-esqe title track. Its crazy, and cool at the same time. Then the album jumps into 'Paisly Park' a song about utopia, and it sounds like a carnival to me and its one of the very best songs that Prince ever recorded, no joke the song is that good its got to be in his top five of all time! 'Condition Of The Heart' is next, its a great space age synthed out ballad as only Prince could do. 'Raspberry Barret' is next, you have heard it thousands of time as it is the biggest hit off the album. 'Raspberry Barret' is the first Prince song I ever heard and is one of my all time favorites. Next is 'Tamborine' a high speed, high powerd funk song with a heavy bass line and a killer production once again. 'America' is Prince's very own little national anthm and its a really cool track one of the best off the album. 'Pop Life' the second hit single off the album has killer production and bass line, its about the music biz and the drugs and pressure everyone feels especially him because at the time he was the biggest atrist in the world. 'The Ladder' and Temptation' are two very cool songs and are perfect for ending Around The World In A Day. Around The World In A Day as you see is one of the most original and most creattive albums that Prince ever made, you need this or your music collection can never be complete!

This is one of my favorite albums by ZZ Top, May 13 2004
Antenna has to be one of ZZ Tops, top five albums of all time and its one of my personal favorites. Billy Gibbons guitar is so amazing here, its better then usual. The songs are great in the ZZ Top fashion, and its not all 80's tchno and MTV friendly crap either, its just good old American rock and roll. Antenna has some powerful songs to work with. 'Antenna Head' being the best song on the album, its got a killer solo great feel and an all around great sound everything just fits together really well. It has to be one of the bands all time best songs, or at least in my openion anyways. 'Cherry Red' is annother great song, its one of the better tracks. Its has a really cool groove to it. Really nice. 'Pincushion' is a great song as well, and one of the best opening tracks I have ever heard. 'FuzzBox Voodoo' is a cool song and as you might have guessed Billy Gibbons uses a lot of FuzzBox in his guitar playing. The album ends with 'Deal Goin Down' and all I have to say is that is the perfect song to end the album. All the other songs on the album are great, well they are better then great but those are the songs you will be listening to over and over and ovevr again. Pick up this awsome album!

One of Prince's all time best albums!, May 2 2004
Prince is one of the worlds greatest musicians. He is a genius, there is no getting around it. This album offers some of Prince's best work in years, to me this is with out a doubt his best album since Come. Rave Un 2 The Joy Fantastic, not only has a killer title but offers some of Prince's best guitar work of his carear. The album starts of with the title cut and its one of the best songs on the album. Great solo and all. 'Undisputed' is another great song with a cool rap at the end, its about how Prince is the coolest musicain ever! 'The Greatesst Romance Ever Sold' is another pretty cool song, its a great slow jam, really pretty, probly the best song on the album. 'Tangerine' and 'So Far, So Pleased' go good together, and they show his awsome guitar. 'The Sun, Moon, And Stars' is a beautiful ballad. The rest of the album is still killer but its gets slightly week after this, but the album is worth the first in songs alone so its all good. The production on this album is the best I have ever heard besides a Pink Floyd album, this is a must own for your Prince collection.

This blew my mind!, April 22 2004
Ok at first listen I was in awe, fastforward to like the thousanth time I listened to this, Im in awe! This is that damn good! Metallica's Master Of Puppets is one of the greatest albumd I have ever heard! It has to be in like the top three metal albums of all time, this is like Black Sabbaths Paranoid, Iron Maidons The Number Of The Beast, Alice In Chains Dirt, or any other legandary metal album you can think of. 'Battery' is a killer speed metal song and is perfect to open up the album. 'Master Of Puppets' the title track, long hailed as Metallicas all time greatest song, well not quite but almost. This has one of Kirks best guitar solos. 'Thing That Should Not Be' is fast but its slow but its heavy if you can understand what I am saying. Well for any Led Zeppelin fans out there this is Metallicas Lemon Song. 'Welcome Home (Sanitarium)' is Metallicas second best song of all time, Fade To Black being the best. But the guitar is mind blowing, and the lyrics are bad a**! 'Dispossiable Heros' is a killer song, with a great riff and cool solo. 'Leper Messiah' is one of my favorite songs on the album, its really fast, hard, and heavy, truly one of Metallicas best songs. 'Orion' is Metallicas all time best instrumental, its perfect and never boring it shows the true talent of this band. 'Damage Inc.' closes out Master Of Puppets and its fast and loud and heavy, its almost dare I say it punk? its a great end to and amazing album by a killer band! Master Of Puppets is an album that no one should be with out, and yes its that good!
