The Code for Global Ethics: Toward a Humanist Civilization
This book is more than a treaty on humanist ethics; it is also a manifesto about the moral demystification of religions and their political reach.
The positive comments I have read could not be more right.
Many books have made the argument that human ethics and morals do not depend upon deities or religion. However, none has filled the gap that people might need religion upon which to base their morals and ethics.
This is the contribution of "The Code for Global Ethics" to do just that. This is a very good read.
