1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, Nov 7 2002
I love DDR and play every day and I was extrememly excited to play DDRMAX for PS2. I anxiously opened the case and popped it in my PS2 only to be extremely disappointed.

-Horrible song list except for about 5 songs (I know we all have our own taste in music, but this is a dance game, and there are only a limited number of dance songs, most of it will just make you want to turn down the volume on your TV)

-Most Steps and music are mediocre and boring

-Less fun than other versions. All previous versions of DDR are just "FUN" with cute characters and fun, upbeat music. This version of DDR is just on a whole different level where fun seems to be left behind.

-Overall, very disappointing game, bad music, boring steps, bad videos in background...etc, must I go on??

-Get 3rd, 4th, 5th,(If you can) and Konamix for a real fun time, leave DDR max on the shelves.

This review is from: In Blue (Audio CD)
Forgiven not Forgotten was a truly amazing cd that had a really unique sound. The music was beautiful.

This latest CD (In Blue) was a huge let down. Every song sounded the same except for Breathless...I couldn't believe the band would allow this cd to be released after the oustanding job they have done on the first album.

1.0 out of 5 stars Snore Fest '00, May 15 2000
This review is from: Eternal Sleep (Paperback)
I find these smile books to be extremely boring. What upsets me the most is the Amercanization of the story. Why play around with an already excellent story? References to calvin kline and other things is like making a joke of Sailor Moon. I wish they would stick with the original script for the episodes and not invent new people and situations that don't affect the story. Alot of the emotion is dumbed down in these stories. Some attacks are the original Japanese ones while others are the DIC version. Why is it so hard to get it right? I wonder what they will do when they reach the later episodes and try to invent new people's names and places and clothing brands. I would definitely stick with the English Manga version of Sailor Moon than the poorly adapted Smile version. I only gave one star because otherwise this review form woudln't work.
