I have only watched the first season and it was great! Human stories with an awesome backdrop.
Got it when Amazon had a box set deal for half price. Glad I waited. Sweeet deal!

I love this re-make of Dawn of the Dead. It is a pure horror popcorn movie (does not have the symbolic elements of the original) and I'm totally ok with it. There are a lot of "don't go in there" moments (and of course they do), but I didn't care. The opening montage is one of my favorites of any movie. I haven't watched it in hi-def yet, I'm sure it will be even better.
