5.0 out of 5 stars Abductions, medical procedures, mutilations - the Star People can do whatever they want, Aug. 17 2014
The only reason we have this book is that people trusted Dr. Ardy Clarke. Some asked not to be interrupted when they told their story. Others said that they would only tell their story once. None wanted to be identified.

Dr. Clarke presents a wide variety of reports.

These reports include various UFOs, mutilations and stories of viruses eg. case of an entire dormitory coming down with a strange flu. All these experiences are recalled without the use of hypnotists. Again & again the stories are like one of David Jacob's book in that they say DON'T TRUST THEM. Reports of entire families who have gone missing i.e. abducted and never returned.

Are they are ancestors? One answer was: No, as they look more like mechanical bugs (page 95). Other cases where they look just like us - and were lowered down in big black cars to do whatever in our society. Chapter 22 has a female abductee that will remind people who know the UFO literature of Budd Hopkin's books. We have clones, or duplicates, made of children (chapter 9). As for mutilations two people saw "a buffalo carcass being tossed out of the craft ... like a stale loaf of bread" (pages 128 and 129). We also have reports of UFO appearing over houses at the hour of death (pages 137-138). All the reports are disturbing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Displays time only when you press the button, July 19 2014

There is one button on the side of the watch. So it took me a while to figure out how to set the time. And the time is in 24 hour mode only. The time only displays when you press the button.

As a USB memory stick, it works just fine. And lets you know on the display how much storage there is. Doesn't look at all like a USB or watch - just a plastic band around your wrist.

5.0 out of 5 stars UFOs in Ecuador, Brazil & Mexico, May 8 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The first part of this video is about the work of Jaime Rodriguez and the Comisión Ecuatoriana para la investigación del Fenómeno Ovni (CEIFO) which did the following:

1. Created a convincing dossier on why UFOs information should be make public. (Funding for this report was not granted to the committee - so they had to get their own funds.)

2. Military personal were afraid of ruining their careers as the phenomena was not taken seriously by the public. So the President of Ecuador had to intervene. The Minister of Defense issued a document that military personnel could make statements about UFOs and it would not affect their CV.

3. Then they had to deal with an American intelligence agency - that wanted everything concealed. President Rafael Correa found that Ecuador's secret services had been corrupted. So the president had to fire everyone. He ordered the expulsion of various agents back to the USA. This disrupted, or unsettled, the military enough that they began to talk. There was lot of disclosure, and this was due to the order of President Correa, June 25, 2007. Order no. 2007-0439 CSN

After this commanders of the Air Force, Army etc. began to be open. Nothing was to remain secret in Ecuador. Rodriguez could go into government agencies and request information. Zanoni G. Dominguez, Air Force General Staff Col. is shown confirming the situation.

Ademar José Gevaerd talks about Project Plato which took place in 1977 - a secret research that was conducted by the Brazilian Military. Local authorities at Colares asked the government for help after a lot of sightings began to alarm the public. The project produced over 2000 pages of documents, 500 photographs, and about 60 hours of film footage. Project Plato was closed due to contact with extraterrestrial beings i.e. contact between the Air Force and extraterrestrial beings. The Air Force was afraid of losing control. They simply close the project down in mid December, 1977.

The DVD also has film of balloon-like UFOs in Mexico.

This video can be viewed on youtube; run time is 105 minutes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge volume - and lots of colored photos and documents, April 28 2014

This review is from: Haunted Skies Volume 8 (Paperback)
This volume has lots of color photos, and documents. Including documents re: the murder/death of Zigmund Jan Adamski. (there is a chapter on his murder in the book, DEATH BY SUPERNATURAL CAUSES). The coroner is quoted as saying "It is quite the most mysterious death I have investigated in 12 years as a coroner" (HAUNTED SKIES vol 8. page 71).

There is lots of material from the trio that opened up the Rendlesham forest case: Dot Street, Brenda Butlar, who was invited to be a part of this vol., and Jenny Randles. And a lot of material re: Georgina Bruni the late author of YOU CAN'T TELL THE PEOPLE - there is even a photo of her meeting with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in 1997, were the PM made that famous remark.

Crop circles at Westbury, Wiltshire. UFO over areas all over the U.K. Strange beings reports. The index isn't at the back of the book but at pages 439 to 449. This is a must have book for anyone interested in the Rendlesham Forest case.

5.0 out of 5 stars A simple watch that is easy to see - a good watch for people with vision problems., April 10 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a good simple watch, especially for people with low vision. (And it is half the price of ILA Independent living aids low vision watches - but the style of ILA watches is a bit nicer). There is no minute indicators. The back pops off easily, so replacing the battery should not be a problem.

The instructions stated that hairspray could damage the watch - I didn't know that. So take your watch off, if you are using hair spray.

5.0 out of 5 stars Includes Canadian UFO phenomena, April 3 2014

Canadian readers might be interested in the "1992 animal mutilations update" by Linda Moulton Howe. There were cattle mutilations at Leduc, Alberta.

Chapter 8 is about "A large stationary object above Montreal" by Dr. Richard Haines and Bernard Guénette at pages 95 to 123.

The book doesn't mention that the UFO over Montréal was reported by the CBC. CBC digital archives still has the report up on the web about the UFO hovering over Montréal; where one can witness the information eg. "On Nov. 7, 1990, a woman spots something in the sky while swimming in the rooftop pool of her downtown Montreal hotel. She sees a round, metallic object projecting a series of brilliant light beams. Her sighting sets off a chain reaction. She tells the lifeguard who calls the hotel security guard, who contacts the police and a journalist from La Presse newspaper. The RCMP, the military and even NASA are called in." CBC also provided disinformation – it is just a weather phenomena - yeah right. RCMP were called for weather phenomena. Sorry but we really did expected better from the CBC.

This book is indexed. And Timothy Good has a chapter, no. 14, on world wide sightings reports.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1950s and 60s humanoids reports with a lot of drawf like creatures & three foot men etc., March 26 2014
This review is from: The Humanoids (Paperback)
Before Albert Rosales and his famous 'Humanoid Sighting Reports' there was Charles Bowen's book on THE HUMANOIDS. These are 1950 and 1960s reports. And what a great variety of creatures we get. There are a lot of what are called "dwarf–like creatures", covered with an abundant dark hair (eg. p. 75), some creatures with claws and glowing eyes. Other are more like us, with long hair and dressed in coveralls. Some are variations of earth humans eg. "The girl, extremely fair–skinned and freckled, had high check–bones, a very pointed chin, and vivid blue 'Chinese–type' slant eyes, and was about 4 feet 8 inches high without helmet" (p. 101). Other creatures have helmets and only one eye.

Some people could handle the sights - others ended up in the hospital in shock.

The table of contents is as follows:

Few and Far Between: Charles Bowen
The Pattern Behind the UFO Landings: Jacques Vallée
The Landing at Villares del Saz: Antonio Ribera
The Humanoids in Latin America: Gordon Creighton

Timothy Good did a talk about this book which is an hour and twenty minutes long at the First UFO Truth conference at Holmfirth U.K., November, 2013. Just look for "UFO Truth Timothy Good Nov 2013" on youtube. Even if you have read the book, it is worth watching the video about this book.

Timothy Good's books are the Holy Grail of Ufology. As they say in the video, he is a legend in this field.

EARTH: AN ALIEN ENTERPRISE has a lot of the older case material starting in the 30s, with a lot of 1950s and 1960s material.

5.0 out of 5 stars ALLIENS IN THE BACKYARD is an excellent book!, Aug. 4 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Aliens in the Backyard (Paperback)
One of the reasons why I like ALIENS IN THE BACKYARD is that the authors know the UFO/abduction literature very well and there are constant references to various authors and books. This, in my opinion, really enhances the book.

The main abduction occurs in a cemetery, in Quebec in winter. The victims father who was with him in the graveyard felt a malign presence nearby and shouted at him to get away quickly - but the wind blocked his voice. While the abduction may have happened in QC the book is American in tone; although it does mention that the RCMP spent 8 hours on Trish & Rob MacGregor's blog (p. 103).

ALIENS IN THE BACKYARD mentions that the spy agencies used the browser Ripper that allows them to copy an entire blog or website, and view it offline (p. 103, 104).

This book has all the elements of the abduction phenomena: synchronicity, the trickster, screen memories etc.

This book is easy to read, and looks at all aspects of the phenomena. The paperback copy had the sentence, "After dinner, he invited us to his home" repeated twice on page 143. How did that get past the editor? In spite of this little mistake, I would recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars 24 March 1968, Flight 712 an Aer Lingus Vickers Viscount 803 named St. Phelim, July 21 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It doesn't matter what side of the ocean your on - if a person comes across unidentified aerial phenomena the result is the same. Bugged telephones, visits from the men in black to stay silent (p. 92), Government denials and missing official documents. This book has all those elements and more.

In the Aer Lingus flight 712 (the Taskar Rock incident) speculation was that this plane was hit by a missile. This has always been denied by the government, as has the testimony of witnesses - some reports even saying that country people didn't know how to tell time. And there were witnesses that reported something else flying up there. Including testimony that the plane entered a small black cloud - taking a long time to pass through it, and dropping in height and changing its course (p. 114). There is some very interesting material in this book, from mayday signals that were never explained to the 1999 allegations that the British military destroyed all the evidence of a missile strike - including incinerating human remains that might have shown metal or chemical traces that were not part of the aircraft.

The back cover states: "The contradictions between the eyewitness statements and the official reports suggests to them [the authors Carl Nally and Dermot Butler] that paranormal forces were at work in this fatal incident". That is why chapter 4 is "Tuskar Rock - Case Unsolved". This is a very interesting book, and highly recommended.
