I bought this book because of my love of quinoa and was pleasantly surprised to see that a majority of the recipes inside were gluten-free! So far I have tried a few and they have all been excellent.
For either experienced or first-time bakers, this book is a must-have! I have so far tried about 15 recipes and have loved all but one (and that one was pretty good still). The sour cream lemon pound cake has become a signature dessert of mine and is requested by many family members for every gathering! The coffee cakes are unbelievable and the book is laid out in a simple and easy-to-follow manner, with helpful tips and instructions for those less comfortable in the baking world!
I purchased this book after taking it out of the library and immediately falling in love with it after the first recipe I tried! Erin is a goddess! I have so far loved all recipes I've tried. The chocolate cupcakes are great, and the spelt flour biscuits (if you can handle spelt) are amazingly easy and fast for a quick dinner fix.
This recipe organizer comes complete with removable shopping lists, conversion charts (incredibly handy), and a yield chart. Each section is separated by a divider (each in a different pattern) with a useful little pocket. My only complaint is that the divider sections are written out for you, and there is no sauce section. It would have been nice to have stickers with different sections (appetizers, desserts, soups) on stickers so that you could pick and choose what you wanted to feature. However, overall, I am in love with it!
