1.0 out of 5 stars Silly, Feb 22 2012
This review is from: The Walk (Paperback)
Although I am well aware all post apocalyptic fiction is just that - fiction- this story was to the point of ridiculous. Characters were unlikeable, unbelievable and I was glad when I could finally toss this book in the Value Village pile.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than 'the Help', Feb 22 2012
I read this after reading "the Help" and I found this book much better, more complex, darker in all the right spots, and a great exciting ending. I really enjoyed this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Changed our lives!, Jan 3 2012
This book literally changed our lives. After struggling with a strong willed 3 1/2 year old boy, my husband and I were at our wits end. I bought this book and devoured it, we started implementing the ideas and suggestions and right away we saw a difference. We still have our tough days, but this book helped us see where we as the parents were making the mistakes and how to correct them, which in turn makes the child much easier to handle. It's definitley made a change in our household! If you find yourself blowing up and yelling at your kids and then feeling guilty and beating yourself up afterwards and want to break that cycle, then this book is for you!

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of time, April 5 2011
I bought this book based on a recommendation by Amazon and one review...BIG mistake. I found this book silly, immature and childish, the story line unbelievable, the characters one dimensional, unlikable and unintersting. In my opinion, this book was a huge waste of my time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mr Hill does it again!, Jan 27 2011
This review is from: HORNS (Hardcover)
After reading this book, I think I'm safe to say "Move over, Stephen King! Your son has definitely inherited the knack for story telling, and I would even venture to say I think he might be better!"
Thouroughly enjoyed this book, if horror is your thing, you will not be disappointed!

2.0 out of 5 stars After the first story - Ew., Dec 29 2009
This review is from: The Living Dead (Paperback)
I'm a big fan of King and Koontz and Hill, but I've never been a big fan of zombies. Regardless, I thought I'd give this book a try. The first story was fantastic, but the further I got into the book, the more I was repulsed. There were too many sex with dead people stories in this book for my liking. Ew. But I guess thats goes along with zombies, so I can't really blame anyone but myself for picking this book up. I couldn't even finish it.
If you like zombies and everything that goes with them, then you may like this book. Myself, I just found it stomach turning.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Well written, descriptive, scary, just what you would expect from Mr. King.
