Not music you would Praise God with, July 7 2004
This was my first OOE CD. I bought because everyone talked about their music so well. Well first off, if you've never heard them don't buy this one. Especially if you put a gospel Cd in to praise or worship God. How is anyone supposed to surrender to God with music like this. You have no idea this is a Christian CD. There hardly ever say the words God, Lord, Jesus. Its not worth you $18 bucks. I'd save it and buy Mary Mary

A Bangin but underrated CD, Dec 27 2003
When this girl group dropped in 2000 they just looked like a typical girl group tryin to make it in the world of R&B. After the underated and underplayed single 'Monica' hit I thought I could at least give them a try. They CD was off the chain. It been 3 years since they first debuted and it looks like they are just a-one-hit-wonder, which is a shame because these girls had talent.

The talents, there but the songs are wack, Dec 27 2003
I was a big fan of Monica when this album came out in 1998. But i was also in the 6th grade. Listening to it now it sounds so corny. The vocal are very good and she is very talented. But that talent doesn't shine through because the songwriters give her garbage material. The production is weak too. If she got some bangin songs she would have done fine. Also 3 of the songs are copied. How original. I havent heard after the storm but I hope its better.

A good effort, Dec 12 2003
You can't expect much from a CD by girls who were only 14 when it was released. I think people are judging it way too harsly. The lyrics are cute and right for their ages. Adrienne and Naturi have great vocals. The song 'Ocean' was very beautiful. I really liked this CD for a long time. I bought it in 7th or 8th grade and I still listen to it. They brung some new stuff to the MI so I recommend for anyone who likes teenybopper music.

Try some of Lurlene's others, Aug 31 2002
If your just starting out reading Lurlene's books I suggest you skip over this one. It's not her best trust me. Even if you've read all her books but you've never read this one trust me don't. Not to down on her but it was not well written and I found myself getting bored throughout many parts of the book. You should try Baby Alicia is Dying, I'll Be Seeing you, or the Dawn Rochelle books. Those are great ones by this author. If you check out the reviews here on those books you'll be tempted to go and by them.

Great yet Sad, Aug 26 2002
Lurlene really hit a number on this one. This is the 5th book I've read by her and so far I think it's her best book. It is very well written and you feel like you can relate to the main character Desila so well. It is a very touching and kind book and I think every teenage girl should have the experince of reading this book.

Cute!, Jan 23 2002
This is not one of the best animated cartoons out their nor is the story plot but when I was ages 8-11 this movie was da bomb. It's cute for the little audience because they aren't so critcial and don't judge movies the way we do. Buy for your children. Believe me they'll enjoy.
