Exceptional book for children, Sep 26 2009
So good that I ordered two copies, one for each of my grand-daughters. Page after page of interesting activities has made this book their all-time favorite. I intend to purchase other Keepsake Classics in the near future...they represent great value and the kids love them.....there are several different themes, but Alice will always be number one. The entire book is in full color with timeless Disney illustrations throughout.

Bitter-sweet movie, Sep 26 2009
This is one great movie. The viewer is shown the loneliness and boredom of the elderly but also the plot is hilarious. so I guess it would be classified as a comedy-drama-adventure. Burns and Norton et al provide much humor,but old George steals the show. Very good transfer.....a movie that you'll watch more than once.

Exceptional CD, Aug 11 2009
I am an avid CD/DVD collector and this recent release by Celtic Thunder rates high on my list for outstanding entertainment. The price is more than reasonable.......the content is pure enjoyment. We have listened to it every day since we purchased it from Amazon.

One of my favorites, May 21 2009
For a period of time this DVD was out of stock on Amazon.....then a couple of weeks ago it was relisted and I ordered it. Some movie critics express disappointment in the transfer.......NOT SO, this transfer is great and far superior to previous releases on VHS, etc. Of course the content is a comedy masterpiece with none stop humor throughout.......the casting is perfect.....I'll watch this one several times a year. I never get tired of it, definitely a five star presentation.

Brightman at her Best, April 25 2009
The location is absolutely incredible and the camerawork makes you feel that you are present at this wonderful concert. I own several Sarah Brightman DVDs and this one is my favorite. The music is majestic, with Sarah sounding her best, accompanied by an orchestra with every instrument imaginable, an angelic choral group and fine male vocalists that perform with Sarah in memorable duets. This is an excellent transfer with exceptional sound.....definitely 5 STAR entertainment.

The Best Elvis Movie, April 5 2009
Beautiful transfer, great songs in the very first ELVIS movie in color AND the only Elvis movie that show his parents in the audience, cheering him on.....a genuine collectors item.

and Great Transfers.....I've waited for any one of these classics on DVD for years....to get all of them at an extremely reasonable price is incredible. All 4 movies are presented in 1.85 WIDESCREEN....there are no extras,but who needs extras with movies of this calibre. FIVE SOLID GOLD STARS on this set.

One of the greatest concerts, Nov 18 2008
I purchased this hard-to-find DVD recently on Amazon. This concert is one of my all time favorites. Great sound and picture....Outstanding song selection..Johnny in his late sixties sounds incredible.....Brooklyn Bridge add smooth vocal and instrumental back-up. Their version of 'Unchained Melody is the best I've ever heard.

IMO 'the Speckled Band' is the best Holmes story that Conan Doyle wrote.......holds your attention from start to finish and no one plays the character better than Brett. As for the quality of the transfer, it's much better than the VHS version and quite pleasant to view. Highly recommended.

This is a DVD that will not disappoint. Most of Rick's TV singing performances are presented on this disc with excellent sound and picture. Clips that are 50 years old are sharp and clear. Besides the song presentations there are many vintage pictures and video segments of Ricks life that make up a great bio. On the final portion of the disc Rick's 3 sons sing 'Garden Party' and other hit songs along with living guitar legend James Burton.
