5.0 out of 5 stars Making A Great Movie A Comedic Relief, Aug. 31 2009
I have always enjoyed watching House on Haunted Hill (1959) with Vincent Price for its atmosphere and fun storyline. I heard about Mystery Science Theater 3000 and even seen clips of episodes online and was quite entertained by the show. When I found out that Rifftrax basically featured the creator of Mystery Science Theater 3000, Mike Nelson, and a few other cast members, I decided to pick up this DVD and check it out. What I found was a hilarious commentary that had me stopping the movie frequently just to get focus from all the laughing out loud! Also, you can watch this with or without the Rifftrax which is an added bonus. Recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Frasier Fourth Season is one of the Best Seasons!, July 23 2008
This review is from: Frasier: Season 4 (DVD)
I have been a huge fan of Frasier since I was in high school and continue to enjoy it. It is not seen too often on TV anymore so buying the Complete Fourth Season was a must. I contains 23 episodes that are sure to leave you laughing, smiling and even feeling good after watching. My personal favourites from the season are: The Two Mrs. Cranes, The Impossible Dream, Mixed Doubles, Three Days of the Condo, Four For The Seasaw, Ham Radio, and Daphne Hates Sherry. If you want a good laugh and a dose of intelligent comedy, Frasier is it...especially this season.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Introduction to Cosmology, March 3 2007
Dr. Michio Kaku's book Parallel Worlds is a good introduction to the science of cosmology and the events, both theoretical and fact, that occur in the universe. The author also explains the possible exsistence of a popular theory known as "String Theory" which has been currently been combined into a thoery known as "M-Theory". He explains all the topics in a clear manner and even inserts some of his own thoughts about the universe he had throughout his life. The only complaint I have is that he should have used the Metric System throughout the book so people who are not familiar, like myself, to the British System do not have to go on the internet and do conversions!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Text/Workbook for Beginners, Feb. 17 2007
This review is from: French the Easy Way (Paperback)
This textbook/workbook is an excellent resource to have if you are starting to learn French or just need a good revision before moving to a higher level. Emphasis is on reading and writing along with learning basic French grammar. However, this book is lacking a detailed pronouciation guide and has only a small one at the beginning. This book, especially for beginners, is good to use with some sort of audio lessons to practise listening and pronouciation skills.

Bonne Chance!
