Quite possibly the worst film I have ever seen.

Stay away and see another Jack Black movie.

This film is a remake of the 1953 film along with a movie based on the book. It isn't as good as it could have been; they had an oppurtunity to make a great film but they didn't execute as well as they could have.

The story basically goes that a family with 12 children lives in the countryside. When the father gets a coaching job in Chicago the family moves there, but the children are hesitant and angry to go. The rest mostly consists of the children being angry and the mother going on a trip touring a book called Cheaper by the Dozen.

This film is not at all great and, in my opinion, not above average. Why? Well, here's reason number one. Hilary Duff. She wrecked the movie with her terrible acting (although she could have acted a TON better,) and her SUPER ANNOYING 'fashion guru' act. She keeps on making lame mentions to fashion and make up, etc. It is really, really annoying and takes away from the film.

The second is the script. There are some bad lines (i.e. when Steve Martin is hanging from the chandelier,) and it can just make the viewer cringe. I cannot say how bad the script is sometimes. When the kids are soaking Hank's underwear in meat, I don't think the kid (if he was logical and actually knew anything about hockey,) would use an EASTON STICK to soak his underwear in meat.

I do not recommend this film, although little kids may enjoy it. They could have done so much better on the film, and I'm skipping CBTD 2.

I do not know how they could ruin such a great oppurtunity, especially since Ocean's Eleven was such a good movie.The acting was not as good as the first and the storyline was so predictable and so boring I can't help but scoff at there attempts to make a good movie.

Well, for those who don't know, there is a chance they may make an Ocean's Thirteen (13 is not a lucky number,) and hopefully they'll redeem this crap-tastic film in the next, if they decide to do it. But, take my advice, skip this film and go buy Ocean's Eleven. That was a good movie.

When I went into my local Blockbuster DVD rental store and found this movie. At first I thought I wouldn't get too much out of it, but it actually delivered! It had an OK script, surprising SFX (especially considering it is a B movie,) and some good acting. The dragons looked very nice and it was a good movie. Take a look at it!

This movie is really funny, but there is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much swearing and too little KISS.

This is a great movie, bar none.

Everyone has to see this movie.

Save your cash for King Kong.

This has 26, simply amazing songs. There is no way to describe how good it is. All the songs are strong, they use space in their music, and it gets the listener thinking and caring about the music, caring about the music and, if you have seen the movie, care about the character played out in the music.

When you compare this to new bands out there (i.e. Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, etc.) they can't even compare to this. The music, even though it usually doesn't have drums beating 357 times a minute and guitars going so fast the player is getting blisters, it still feels heavy and dark.

I cannot put it in words how good this album is. It is a a must have for any CD collection.

this is absolutely the worst film ever created. WHY IN THE HECK IS THE AVERAGE REVIEW AT 4 1/2 STARS????!!!!! HAS THE WORLD GONE STUPID??? This film has no redeeming qualities whatsoever and I can't, in the most logical sense, even imagine why the review is so high.

This film is simply a symbol of our times. Maybe it doesn't show how the world really is, but is has such good messages in such a dark, weird way, you can't help but like it.

The story goes that a has-been rock star, Pink, has been taking drugs and is a psychotic. As he drops deeper into insanity, he remembers his child hood, how he never had a father, that his father died in the war. He also remembers how his mother wasn't with him that much and how he didn't have many friends. One day, he goes ballistic and destorys his apartment and goes to a hotel. There, he decides to lead an organization, with two hammers crossed for symbols, to destroy the city. I will not give away such an amazing ending!

This film has such an odd mix of cartoon and live action that it leaves such an impact on the viewer. The way the film is done, the ingenious fact there is little dialogue and so much music, it seems like there is a ton of audio. I cannot describe the cartoons, they are so well done and so weird.

Some people don't like this film because they believe they are saying school sucks. Really, that is not what Pink Floyd is saying, listen to the song. "Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone." They are describing how the teachers beat the kids and put them down. They are trying to get across that the way school was, and I believe still is in England, sucks. The kids would beat the kids regularily, and they are crafting them into what the teacher wants them to be.

Another message in the film is, and they do it so ingeniously, don't do drugs. That is the main reason Pink (not the band, the main character,) dropped into insanity was bacause he did too many drugs.

The final, and the most powerful message, was that war creates more problems than it solves. Pink's dad died in the war and that also help to turn him insane; he never had a father, and, it shows in his child hood, that he missed out on a lot of things because of it.

This film is definitly a must see for any Pink Floyd fan or any fans of films in general. It is so weird, yet so well done that you just have to like it. I give this movie five stars, and I would give it a ton more if I could.
