Ce troisième tome très réussi met un bon point final à la trilogie Millenium.
Encore une fois, comme dans les deux livres précédents, l'intrigue est palpitante, même si on a vu les téléfilms avant.
Un bémol somme toute mineure, cependant: il semble tout de même étrange que le personnage de Ronald Niedermann disparaisse durant tout le livre, ou presque, alors qu'il est l'objet d'une chasse à l'homme nationale par tous les corps policiers.
Ça ne fait pas très crédible que ce soit les conséquences de la succession de Zalachenko qui permettent à l'un des personnages principaux de le retrouver.
Autres éléments intéressants du livre versus le téléfilm: les histoires parallèles vécues par Erika Berger, la cofondatrice de Millenium, et celle de la policière Rosa Figuerola de la SAPO sont bien développées, alors qu'elles sont pratiquement évacuées du film.

Tant ma femme que moi-même avons lu les trois tomes de la série après avoir vu les téléfilms qui ont été diffusés au Québec au printemps 2011.
La littérature de Stieg Larrson est évidemment bien plus intéressante que les films qui en ont été tirés.
Le premier tome est très accrocheur, et on ne peut que se dépêcher de lire les suivants.
Les personnages principaux sont fascinants, bien dessinés et l'intrigue est palpitante.
Le seul regret est que le décès subit de l'auteur nous privera à jamais de ce fantastique personnage qu'est Lisbeth Salander.
J'aurais aimé la voir vieillir un peu.
La traduction française n'est pas si mal.
À lire absolument.

Like Dennis Lehane who's trying to end his relation with Kenzie-Gennaro characters, Henning Mankell is ending his one with Kurt Wallander. In a fashionable way.
This book is a must read.

I've just finished it, and I feel sad.
Because it's obviously the end of the Kenzie-Gennaro story.
The book is great, funny and furious.

A good story, but in the end, there are too much parts which are just too much, especially these lasting in Hong Kong.
But the development of Bosch relation with his daughter is promising.

I've read several books from this author, and this one is excellent.
Great story, characters, plot.
Enjoyed it a lot!

For anybody who works or who knows the mass-media industry and love Michael Connelly, this is a great novel.
We have seen Jack McEvoy before in THE POET, considered by many like the masterpiece of the author.
This one is almost as good, and describes quite clearly the world we live in.
The only critic is about Rachel Walling character, who's behaving strangely in this novel.
But this will not affect the pleasure you will get.

It's not the first time Connelly is mixing his hero Harry Bosch in a book driven by another character, in this case, Mickey Haller, seen before in The Lincoln Lawyer and The Last Coyote.
The story is breathtaking, even if the ending is not amazing.
It's not the best book he has written, but it's a pleasant one. The dialogue between both heroes are quite interesting!

I have worked all summer of 2008 on a project which was stopped by all the reasons Chris Anderson is adressing in his book.
This is great stuff and everybody who wants to understand the world and the basics of economics, it's a must.
