5.0 out of 5 stars good story but so rushed, April 26 2004
unicron arrives and this battle was legendary it shocked me that unicron ate brainstorm the way he did and scorponok's death was kind of sad too, the movie was'nt this drAMatic with the unicron battle this was way better opyimus prime desposes of hi q to destroy unicron and prime knew what he was doing when he let hi q go he knew his spirit or whatever tf's have would transfer to hi q anyway the rest of the story grimlock leads the bots again he loses his transformation powers the effects of nucleon then the disputes with him and prowl are timeless prowl was pissed that grimlock was the leader and grimlock knew that peace between him and the autobots was a mistake bludgeon wqould have been a good leader if he would have had more spotlight too bad megatron killed him in gen2, megatron returns here too along with ratchet and megs meets galvatron and then they kill shockwave and ratchet crashes the ark to earth again where they all seem to die however galvatron escapes and goes insane only to be knocked offline by fort max while the autobots head to klo to fight the cons only to be destoyed cept grimlock and a fw others but a newly resuercted optimus prime along with the neo knights and the last autobot save the day and defeat the cons while bludegeon goes to exile.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2 good stories both tragic though, April 26 2004
weapon x wants wolverine back in the fold and they sent sabretooth after him logan meets new foes like the director again new mysteries of his past comes up the director is a guy whose face was disfigured by wolverine when he escaped from the original weapon x complex years ago an this guy gets a grudge against all mutants and wants them destroyed (...) there's another battle with creed then wolverine and beat goes home after the director revealed that he used mind control to have wolverine kill other ex employees of weapon x but these may be more mindgames.
deadpool however the director wants him back in the fold too but wade wilson gets killed at the end along with copycat a shame that they had to die but oh well as for maverick he's not dead but weapon x revived him and he became agent zero.

This review is from: Wolverine TPB (Paperback)
loved the story logan fights for his love than meets a new girl yukio rules here and it's good to learn how she was hired by the hand to kill logan but then turns on them cause she loves wolverine and is jealouis of mariko it's sad to see that this ninja theme with wolverine would be repeated to death over the years still this is a good story glad shingen's dead and too bad mariko died later on and logan never got over her death.

4.0 out of 5 stars okay good story but raises more questions, April 26 2004
This review is from: Wolverine: Origin (Paperback)
I like wolverine this raises more questions than answers for 1 I seewhy logan went crazy I'm not sure does he wanna remember his past come on you discover your mutant powers by killing your dad's murderer wolverine's chose to forget that part of his life you blame him he has no memories of his mom as he staTED AND this story tells why his mom was a fruitcake and then again it's made clear that his mom had an affair with thomas logan what's worst it seems like th boutwell family seems to be cursed, then again I'm a writer myself and I for one would have made wolverine older fans check out the unofficial wolverine chronolgy to see what I mean it seems the logan we know of today was an adult around the late 1800's and also wolverine met demons and stuff at some point in his young life and when he first joined the x men tests showed that logan was more than a mutant plus somebody pointed in japan that logan had powers he was'nt aware of.
this story here explains why wolverine is attracted to redheads it's explains why he became what he is now isolation, abuse from all ends, toughning up by mine work an urge to hunt and kill because he does'nt know he's a mutant yeah but i also thought that wolverine knows more about his past than he lets on as sabretooth points out weapon x never touched his memories but weapon x did indeed mess with his mind come on the abuse logan took in weapon x was unbelievable and the professor did indeed toy with his mind.
at the end where rose dies it seems like she knew dog was coming this might explains why she was eager to elope with smitty cause dog seemed to easily find logan this story should have been longer than 6 issues that's my only fault folks think does dog become sabretooth no he does'nt.
maybe origin 2 will reveal more details more logan's young life.

5.0 out of 5 stars I wish more people would write about black heavy metal, April 12 2004
man this book was good I had to get this knowing that I'm a music lover and a fan of black rock funkadelic is my favorite rock band and they taught the whole industry a lesson also talks about jimi hendrix, artur lee, and love, sly stone, plus interviews with lenny kravitz, slash, and vendetta fields a former ikette yes ike turner helped pioneered rock n roll talks about bad brains, and how black people still cannot do the music they helped create which is sad black people just rock harder and better than than people like kid rock, limp bizkit, and beck who are really copying trends set by black artists.
black people today need to study their musical roots and embrace our heritege without artists like these there would be no rap today.

5.0 out of 5 stars unicron lives, April 12 2004
yeah unicron rocks love this story you even get a cool origin of how unicron and primus became mortal enemies and how he sets out to destroy all of primus' children which happens to be the transformers.
rodimus prime rocks, good story, kind of sad to see infreno die but in the tf universe characters die all the time but are somehow revived for furure plots death's head was brilliant.

love the transformers stories this one was an all time classic megatron meets galvatron and both take out the wreckers, and the mayhem squad, then galvatron takes on optimus prime, rodimus, scorponok, and ultra magnus and their crews all by himself good story all tf fans should buy it as for poor shockwave he went to great lenghts to prevent his death that happened in 2010 and he was really killed by death's head but then again he was killed by megatron, and galvatron in 1991.
