5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional Foundation for Custom Builds, March 7 2014
It looks great out-of-the-box and lives up to the quality you'd expect from a case like this. Well constructed, all metal, with rubber gaskets internally for cable management. Three large 120mm fans are included with mounts for four more, or a cpu cooler and two fans. All around excellent quality, loads of space, and looks good to boot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Learning Reference, Dec 21 2011
This is an excellent resource for exam prep (what I used it for) or for general use in day-to-day support of Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager 2007. The info is excellent with lots of detail and a tonne of images. The only downside that I could "see" was the size of the images. They were a touch too small and even with my specs on I had a difficult time reading the details. Otherwise, I can highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fact Filled, Action Packed History, Nov. 4 2010
Over-flowing with historical facts that will raise an eyebrow at the number of now famous people involved with the events surrounding the taking of Quebec, and New France, from the French. Dan Snow is an excellent story teller making the historical events extremely interesting. Once I got started with this book I had a hard time putting it down.

4.0 out of 5 stars Filled with Solid Information, June 6 2009
This book was a useful training tool in my preparation for the 70-649 exam. The technical level is above what is required to pass the exam however and I found some of the detail somewhat overwhelming. There was an excess of some of the inner workings that I don't think was necessary. The screen captures were just that slight bit too small for tired eyes. I recommend this book paired with a good virtual lab setup for success on the exam.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality Content from Ear to Ear, June 6 2009
Season six is as good as the rest. Filled with hilarity and hijinks from the whole Simpson family and the rest of the Springfield gang. The only downside is the plastic head box. Skip it and get the normal box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite Good, Jan. 3 2006
This review is from: Daniel Powter (Audio CD)
It's easy to listen to. Daniel has a good voice and the music he's singing suits him. The reference to a "young Elton John" works. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this disc and I think you will too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nicely Laid Out and Easy to Use. Useful Maps, Sept. 27 2004
This review is from: Tunisia (Paperback)
It's light and compact and has some useful maps. We used the hotel suggestions but in most cases the ratings were off, if it says 3 stars assume 1.5-2 stars. Take ear plugs. Almost all of the hotels were in noisy areas. Many of the suggested eating places were also off the mark. Extensive menus would be met with three or four options available. The guides to sights and towns to visit were very good. We used the walking tours and maps to navigate through the country quite comfortably. Assume you'll be ripped off by every taxi driver and you'll be ok. It's still very inexpensive to travel in Tunisia. And this book is very handy to have along for the ride.

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Background Info/Poorly Arranged, Sept. 27 2004
This review is from: Paris (Hardcover)
It's a hefty book and you don't want that when you're walking around Paris for a few days or longer. This book has a lot of excellent photos, some pretty good maps, and lots of excellent background info. That being said it's not really got any "flow" to how to find info in it. It was difficult to go back to find the next item on the list if you were following one of the walking tours and in some cases important things to see either weren't listed on the maps or were hard to find. I would say buy this to read on the plane on your way over then leave it in the hotel room and opt for something better organized and lighter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a Couple of Days in Washington, DC, Sept. 24 2003
Like the other Lonely Planet Condensed books this one is a day pack must have. It's small enough to be able to stick in a pack or a back pocket but is filled to the brim with useful information on what to see in DC, where to eat, how to get there (excellent maps including details on the Metro), and where to lay your head at the end of the day. We picked this up on a whim but found that it helped us narrow down the best sights and points of interest for Washington, DC when we only had a few days to stay. Well worth the very reasonable price and you'll have no trouble finding the highlights and the hidden treasures of the capital.

5.0 out of 5 stars In NYC for Only a Couple of Days?, Sept. 24 2003
This is the book to have in your daypack if you find yourself in the Big Apple for a couple of days and only have time to see the highlights. It's got just the right amount of info to find a place to stay, find the best restaurants, and see all the "must see" locations, and a handful of hidden treasures too! The self guided walking tours are one of the best parts of the book. Highly recommended.
