Works great, May 21 2013
If you have SI joint issues this works really good. I wear it when I'm feeling a bit strained and it keeps me from a trip to the chiropractor.

Took forever to get through, May 21 2013
The two story lines were distracting. The history lessons felt forced not part of the story. The writing itself was sometimes very beautiful.

Very one sided, Sep 17 2012
I felt the author was patronizing and condescending to his readers. I felt that he had only one view of 'adult relationships' and everything in the book worked around that premise that we aren't supposed to take care of each other as adults. It just didn't give me the tools I needed, there were examples of his patients and very specific situations only that this book applied to. I would not recommend it as a step by step guide.

No need of a book on this subject, May 1 2012
I think the premise is very good and is working for me but it doesnt go far enough for long term healthly living. But its a good start. There are many things in the book that I disagree with for optimum health.

Not Anne Rice quality, May 1 2012
Maybe its the subject matter is just more silly than witches and vampires but this book does not meet my high expectations of Anne Rice's writings. The characters do not pull me into the story and there is alot of filler. Disapointed.

where is the science?, May 1 2012
First of all thank you Amazon for returning my money for this book. It has far too many religious judeo-christian references for my likings without a disclaimer in the description. More importantly, I kept expecting some explanation as to the blanket statements of what to eat and what not to eat and there was never any given. Without the science this is just anouther fad diet.

its all about the faces!, April 3 2012
my 9 month old granddaughter is crazy about this book! she screams at the turn of every page, she seems to be fascinated by the different faces, this is a great size and weight for her to handle but you still have to keep her from eating it, the flip up parts are really strong also. Best for baby book!

Impossible to follow and boring, Aug 18 2011
I'll have to remind myself to skip the Man Booker finalists,, this book was impossible to finish and I finally gave up about 3/4 through. There are two or more storylines, one where the people are crazy and the other about the family, you never really learn anything about any of the characters.

Really hard to read, April 26 2011
Sorry I cant figure out what's so great about this writer. I did enjoy Snows of Kilimanjaro but it was shorter. This book has no story to it. I went on to try For whom the bell Tolls - same thing. Would be great I'm sure as a play but no flow to his stories.

Best advise I've gotten by far, Aug 16 2010
If you are on the fence about your relationship you need to read this book. Every page is helpful, my highlighter was wore out by the end of it. And I had my answer at last. Amazing is all I can say.
