5.0 out of 5 stars King of portable headphones, May 30 2014
Yes, it gives you a haircut sometimes, but I with practice, I managed to find the right way to wear these headphones. Nothing beats the sound quality for the price. And there's lifetime warranty in North America.

4.0 out of 5 stars The show is great... but., Feb. 17 2014
This review is from: MTV Unplugged [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
I've been listening to Scorpions for many years and pretty much like everything they do. Everything about this blu-ray release is awesome. The only thing I wish is that the producers would include high-end audiophile stereo and surround audio tracks, with a nice dynamic range. This is a dual-layer blu-ray disk, and there's still plenty of space available.

3.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect!, Feb. 3 2012
The video quality was almost perfect, except few artifacts popping for a moment in few places. Hopefully it can be cleaned.
I'm not sure if it's me, but the intro audio of the first episode didn't sound good, but the audio for the episode itself was great. The music seems to be limited to front speakers only. I hope the mastering crew can expand music, during episodes to surround speakers. I wonder if it's possible to have the aspect ratio little wider than 4:3 (no cropping) for the final release??

And finally, it has multiple language audio tracks. I really hope CBS can add Russian too for the final relese :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great show, the setting looks similar to what I saw at Montreal show :-), Dec 19 2011
I don't have 3D TV, and it worked fine in 2D using OPPO BDP-93 player. Overall great show. I'd give 5/5 for the content, 4/5 for video quality, 4.5/5 audio quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good movies, Dec 18 2011
It was OK. Lucas should have completely replaced all the special effects in the older movies. Hopefully it will happen when when Holodisk arrives.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome show, Oct. 29 2011
Great show. The only thing I didn't like is the vocals and solos are not loud enough on the DTS-HD Master track. I guess perfect mixing wasn't on high priority :-(

5.0 out of 5 stars They did it again!, Oct. 14 2011
It took me about 20 times of listening to this album to really start to appreciate it. Once I got in sync with the music, it all started to make sense! Octavarium is still my DT favourite album though :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Grew on me (SACD version review), May 14 2011
This review is from: Calling All Stations (Audio CD)
I heard the album while ago and didn't like it much. After picking it up on SACD recently, it really grew on me in 5.1 surround. Now I'm listening to it at least once a week. The separation of instruments, bass, and vocals is amazing. Music is great too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good to Be Bad sounds much better than this one!, April 30 2011
This review is from: Forevermore (CD/DVD) (Audio CD)
Maybe this one needs to grow on me, but it really sounds like the music writing was rushed. Really strange mixing/mastering too. The solo guitar somehow gets into the lower frequencies, which getting annoying while listening to this album, with headphones, or with speakers. Hope they pay more attention to the next album.
