Finally!, Jun 12 2013
I've got 3 big dogs, who blow their coats every spring. Fur everywhere. I tried all the expensive brushes, and brush my dogs until my arm is sore, and made no progress. But I always avoided brushes like this because I just thought what's a $7 brush going to do if a $40 brush can't do the job? Well the $40 brush was doing nothing, so I had to try something new. This was an immediate difference-maker. I brushed my sheddingest dog, the one who can't be successfully, completely brushed. In less than 10 minutes, we were just done. The undercoat came out effortlessly and in unimagineable quantity. And kept coming out, until we were done. None of this brushing and brushing and brushing for no results. We actually got the job done. After the first use, I can see a huge difference in the amount of fur on the carpet. This just got the results I've been after for years. I can't recommend this enough. 10 out of 5 stars.

Great drill, Jun 9 2013
I've had it a year now. I use it a lot for projects around the house and yard, and it always works. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time, even when worked hard. I've forgotten it outside in the rain more than once and it's never been a problem. I actually came back to this page because this drill's been so good, I wanted to buy another as a housewarming gift for a friend. I highly recommend this tool.

Fair warning, Dec 15 2012
Although my set is exactly as pictured in the product info, from reading the reviews, there are a couple of differences I feel I should point out. 1. Mine does include a book listing which episodes and special features are on which disc. Many reviewers said they didn't get one. I did. There is one small inconsistency in it - the booklet and the disc's own labels call "Razor" disc 1 of season 4. But when the Razor disc is in your drive, it will show up as Razor. The disc that the book and label call season 4 disc 2, will show up in your drive as season 4 disc 1. The disc labelled season 4 disc 3 will show up as season 4 disc 2. 2. My set does not include The Plan. Some here say theirs did. Mine didn't. I bought my set in November 2012, if that makes any difference to anyone regarding the above differences. These issues aside, it's BSG. It looks and sounds awesome, and is one of the all-time great series. This is the first series I've ever bought on any medium, and I've been around since Beta.

Is this a joke?, Nov 26 2012
I can't believe this product hasn't killed or crippled somebody yet. This is an absolute joke. To make the holes line up to be able to insert the bolts, the pieces don't go together straight. It sits entirely crooked on the door frame, with less than an inch of it actually sitting on the frame, where over a foot of it should be. The plastic piece that clips into the frame to "hold" this is in place is just pathetic. I can bend it into breaking with my pinkie finger, but I'm supposed to trust my body weight to it? No way in hell. Unfortunately I didn't get around to setting this piece of crap up until after the return date, otherwise I would have returned it. I won't even give this away, I don't need a lawsuit on my hands or a serious injury on my conscience. This product is pathetic, and went straight into the garbage. Please, for your own safety, do not buy this.

Blew me away, Nov 25 2012
This is a great show! I have an extensive collection of concert dvds/blurays, and this is immediately up there among my favourites. Although I've been an STP fan since Core(a little less of a fan with each album, but still a fan), my tastes generally go a lot heavier than this(I'm more of a death metal guy in general). There was no disappointment from lack of heaviness here. The sound and picture are phenomenal. 12/10. Seriously. Every instrument is crystal clear and tight in the mix. If you have quality sound equipment and a big HDTV, this show will show you how good your system is. And the camera work is extremely well done, giving you a feel like you're really at the show, allowing you to get right into it. The setlist was excellent; they played 7 songs off of Core(my favourite album of theirs), so I'm happy. The newer songs fit in nicely and were well placed. The setlist was well balanced for a good flow, to keep your energy level right where you want it the whole time - right into it and not bored, but not burning out on too high of energy for sustained periods. The musicianship and performance was top-notch. I had to laugh at the bass player though, with that haircut, those sunglasses, and the earpiece, he really looks like an undercover cop on stage. But no complaints about his performance. This is easily a 5-star show. Easily. Well worth the money. I'll be watching it again and again, and I immediately bought another copy for a Christmas gift.

Original and hilarious, Nov 22 2012
I watched this whole series and loved every minute of it. I came to this page to buy the bluray for two different people for xmas, and saw only one review for it, so I'll add mine. It's been awhile since I watched it so I won't get into specifics, but suffice it to say this was a really original show. Several unique characters and a twisted, convoluted, yet fun plot that manages to weave itself together in the end. Well worth a watch, and a rewatch.

1988 all over again!, Nov 17 2012
I'd never seen or heard Steel Panther before this, but was aware of the concept. I decided to use this show to get acquainted, and I'm hooked. Every song is funnier than the one before it. I'm literally laughing out loud, alone in the living room. And almost never laugh out loud at the tv. I don't know whether this is funnier having lived through the hair metal era, or if you're too young to remember it and this is your first taste of that unfortunate yet fun period in time. But this is a damn good time. Highly recommended.

What a great show, Nov 4 2012
This a phenomenal show. It's very well shot, and looks and sounds great. The band performs at a spectacular level, as usual(if you've never seen Arch Enemy live, they bring it every single time). Arch Enemy doesn't waste a lot of time with ballads or even mellow parts in their songs; they go full blast all the time, yet they manage to create a balanced setlist that ebbs and flows just enough to maximize the intensity. And another thing...I'm the last guy in the world who judges a band by looks or image. It's 100% about the music to me. But Angela looks hot in white.

A step back, Oct 20 2012
I didn't care for Mastodon until Crack the Skye. But that album was just so deep and epic and brilliant it quickly became my all-time favourite album, a title And Justice for All held for 20 years, so no easy feat. I won't say my expectations were high for this album, because I'd seen the interviews where they'd talked about the shorter, catchier songs. But still... Remember what Metallica did after Justice? The Black Album. Shorter, catchier songs. Taking it easier on themselves. Not pushing themselves as hard. A lot of people liked it better, but a lot of the people who loved them before were disappointed. I feel this is a valid comparison here. Mastodon, like Metallica at their peak, are/were expert songwriters, who stood above their contemporaries. Whether their tastes simply changed, or they were burned out, or simply lazy is for them to know, but the result is The Hunter. Shorter, frankly easier songs from a songwriting perspective. Hooks that are designed to stick in your head and maybe even gather radio play, at the expense of a better song. The bits and pieces are here to suggest they had another epic album in them, but just didn't bother for one reason or another. The songs aren't bad, and by a lesser band I might even give this album another star(though still wouldn't enjoy it much). But like I said above, they just sound "easy" from a songwriting point of view. Simple 3-4 minute, verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus/done songs, and on to the next one. I've had the album a year and I don't find myself ever putting it in anymore at all. I bought the version with the dvd and never even put in the dvd, so I think that says that I truly never got into the album at all. Also, as much as I love live music, I don't think these new songs came across very well live.

Holy crap, Oct 19 2012
This is a hell of a good show. I'm not a huge Hatebreed fan. I like some of their songs, but if I listened to an entire album of them, I'd get tired of it before it ended. But I love live music. I put this in and it was just awesome pure energy all the way through. Sound is great. Vocals are a little high in the mix, but not too badly. The guitars and drums sound huge and sharp. This is a great show to put in while doing housework to really raise your energy level and get more done.
