A good book. it focuses on jason going to the middle east to find his real mother, and bruce going to the middle east to hunt down the joker. personally I like it that Batman wants to kill the joker.

this is a good book it shows the joker's veiw on the world, and a new orign, wether the orign is true or not I like it. everything else has already been said.

note: no, The joker does NOT rape barbara, and as for the nude pictures, we just see barbara's butt and her chest, but the photo is not full frontle. the chest one, that is.

It seems the reaper is back in gotham, but we learn right away that it's the son of joe chill, the man who murdered bruce's parents. not only must bruce confront him, but his greatest fears too.

this book features two-face's first apperence, 3 riddler stories, a "secret origin" story featuring the penguins origin, the riddler's veiw, and another two-face story, also the great origin of two-face! great book! also a index of thier apperences up to 1995. riddler's refernce to the 60s tv show villans is classic.
the reason it gets only four stars is because it should have been alot bigger.

{Major spoilers} I really hope they print knightquest, cause it would fill in the gaps in this story. it is a very cool story, batman goes to lady shiva to regain his fighting spirt. and azrael is REALLY goin' insane. Which I have no complants about. the mayor says that crime is down 45 percent. voilent but evective. a great conclusen.

{Major spoilers} 21 dead men have ended up in gotham, so batman sends nightwing to check it out. when he gets there he finds out that black mask wants to take control of bludhavan. during the first fight he finally gets that stupid ponytail cut off. he then finds out about the police force. he then goes on a quest to find out who killed the gangsters and who wants to take bludhavan from angle marin, the former kingpin of bludhavan. very nice.
