What is there to say...

I've heard complains about green tint problems, I think I can notice it, but it's really nothing to complain about.

As a 2d monitor, it's great, and for 3d, you can control the depth and convergence which allows to see stuff behind/in front of the monitor.

It works great for games, although normal games' UI tend to get in the way to enjoy it properly. For example, if there is a lot of icons on the UI, chat box and other stuff, and that you want to pop things out of the screen, there is an issue : everything is behind the UI, but the UI is right on the screen, so if things pop up, you'll see them in front of the monitor, but behind the UI which is right on the screen, which is a bad effect. If the UI isn't in the way though, you can make things pop up properly (small icons on the sides of the screen preffered to big panels at the middle). That's for popping out models from the screen. If the UI is in the way, you can still do that and have an headache, or you can keep it inside the screen and increase the depth.

It's good for movies too, I've seen a part of the Avatar 3d movie on youtube and there wasn't any issue. However, on the video aspect of 3d, there isn't that much content out there and blu-rays are quite expensive (40$~ per blu-ray 3d movie).

If you're willing to pay the price, go ahead, it's definitly not a downgrade, you'll get your 3d for games and for 3d movies.
