I have read three of James Rollins books "Ice Hunt", "Excavation", and "Map of Bones". In "Map of Bones" as well as the others I really enjoyed the characters as well as the story line. In all three of his books, however, the ending is so off beat and far from reality that I finished the book feeling somewhat cheated in that I committed the time to spend reading the last third. If you select this because you think he is another Dan Brown, you will be disappointed.
