more of a "ladie's" porno, Nov 12 2011
When I bought this book I was really hoping for a modern spin on beauty dating the beast but with some classical undertones. I was disappointed. It is well written for a young adult romance with significant references to umm "physical action". I was hoping for more tenderness in keeping with the original ideas of the beauty and the beast romance. Not so much my cup of tea as I had previously thought but nevertheless very well written for the considered audience. The epilogue makes me wonder if there is a sequel and if it might be more interesting then the first one...

a request for information not a review, Nov 12 2011
I've learned amazon can be vague as to weather or not a version is complete and unabridged...before i spend six to fifteen dollars on a new book i've never read i'd like to know if it's complete so i get the full classic experience...can anyone tell me if it's complete?

Best one I've read yet., Oct 25 2011
I kinda wish this one had been made into an episode. I'm curious as to what music they would have used. Anyway moving on to the book. I was very happy with the way the character's were written. The descriptions of the houses and the town were nice and vivid. I could picture the way the town was laid out. This one kept me on the edge of my seat at pretty much every page. That witch is a good villain, almost akin to lilith, in my opinion. Other reviewers can disagree, it's some pretty high praise, but I thought she was very well written. I can't wait to read the last two. I would recommend this for supernatural fans and horror fans.

a bit disappointed in jensen's lack of presence, Oct 3 2011
I was curious what this would be like. Despite jensen's lack of presence (he only does voice overs for 2 episodes), I think this was very well done. I was kind of expecting it to be just cartoon versions of episodes. A few are "anime originals". One good thing regarding jensen's presence is that he does do intro's with jared. I thought them acknowledging the fans was nice. They do mention once specifically that they are greatful to the fans. I mean hell, we help them make money right? It's nice to be acknowledged once in a while :) Overall I'd say it's not a must for your collection, but it is fun to watch and I'm not regretting my purchase.

everything i thought the first book would be., Oct 3 2011
I can see why people really like this author. Great feel for the characters and setup for the style of describing the settings. It reads just like an episode. I'm really glad I bought this book. I wasn't sure if this was the first book or not but after buying it and reading the introductions I know it is now. That's the only thing I would have wanted to know before buying it. I don't think there's too much that I can add other reviewers haven't already touched on. I guess I'll wrap up, happy reading guys :)

Captures Bobby's essence to a "t", Sep 20 2011
I laughed out loud a lot during this book. As silly as it sounds with a heart like Bobby's if someone were to walk in to my life like him I'd marry him in a red hot minute. Now to more serious tones...the humour in this book is there but what makes it great is the blend of humour with the tragedy that makes life sour. Bobby's had a lot of tragedy, this book touches on that, but you also learn more in depth his relationships with some of the characters. It was very well written, lots of attention to detail was given to Bobby's erm..colourful language..lol Any Supernatural fan would love this book. It sheds a lot of light on Bobby's softer side, and on some of his background. Things you could only guess at watching the show becomes more clear reading this.

Like the back cover says "unput-downable!", Sep 20 2011
I think this is going to become one of my favourites! I love the suspense and how the father Christopher Knox comes to grip with his mortality and shortcomings ("I'm an idiot"}. The realms of fantasy and the love for the written word leap right off the pages and wrap you in warmth. A good book is always like coming home, whether you know the author or are a first timer. I would recommend this! Please read, you won't be sorry you did! I'm glad I read it.

a bit different, Sep 13 2011
I thought this would be layed out like a textbook, perhaps with alphabetical glossaries of creatures. The narrative enmeshed with the dates and monsters met is a better idea. It flows very well. I'm very glad I've been purchasing these books.

Everything I thought it would be and more, Sep 13 2011
I'm only halfway through so far but I had to write a review anyway. The descriptions of his thoughts and worries are incredible. I've always wondered what may have been behind the curtain of his feelings for Mary. Now so much is clear. The tendency to pick up a loved one's habits are evident. This is a much more tender side to John. For instance, I never knew there were different materials for anniversary gifts every single year you are together. For every Supernatural fan I recommend this book!
