This book was given as a joke to a good friend. Not only was it absolutely hilarious, the recipes were actually quite intriguing, with lots of great (and funny) photographs. Definitely a new twist on cookbook collecting!

5.0 out of 5 stars My New, "Show Off" Gadget, Sept. 10 2013

I kind of purchased this on a whim, just as a Fun, Novelty item. However, it worked great, and looked and tasted just as good as the other "Famous" Breakfast sandwich that we all know and love! Also, I did the math, and i've almost paid for it already, considering the cost of these sandwiches if purchased elsewhere!

5.0 out of 5 stars A gift that will last for years!, Dec 17 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Like the adult version of Q&A a day, this cute little book provides lots of food for thought. This version is more suited to the young writer. It is colourful, with larger spaces for writing, and questions that a kid could relate to, such as "Who do you have the most fun with?" Or, " If you could have any pet in the world, what would it be?"
It's not all light and breezy though, this book also provides some questions that can inspire deep thought or perhaps conversations with parents, such as "How do you calm down when you feel angry?", or..."Who helps you when you feel afraid?"
These little books make it quick and easy to provide an answer, and it's great to look back and see how opinions change over time!
Give it with a nice bookmark, and perhaps a cool pen, and you've got an awesome gift that requires no batteries!

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes a great gift for those special friends!, April 26 2012

This review is from: Q&A a Day: 5-Year Journal (Diary)
After receiving a copy of Q &A as a gift, I was inspired by the short and simple format of the book. Sometimes journalling can be overwhelming with those big empty pages staring at you, and you wondering...."Where do I begin?". Not so with Q&A.
Each day you are aked a question, sometimes simple, such as what was your favourite meal this week, and other questions cause you to really pause and reflect on your thoughts. Some questions are humorous, some very serious. But no matter what, you only have four short lines to answer in, and this prevents it from becoming a chore to answer.
I also enjoy the fact that it is a five year journal, so that you can compare answers from year to year, see what things are changing in your life, and what stays the same. You can also start the book on any page, (usually the day you receive it)
The book is compact, very attractive and special looking with its gold trimmed pages, and makes a super gift. I have passed along ten copies already as gifts to friends, and they in turn have also ordered copies to pass on to their friends, sisters, daughters etc. We call it our Q&A club and sometimes call each other when an interesting question has been asked and compare our answers. Its fun, its easy, its interesting, and I love it!

Finally, a reader friendly, well written, inspirational and actually helpful book on the subject of midlife.
Written from a womans point of view, this book makes you feel as if you are with friends just like you. It is humorous, yet not "fluffy", and provides wonderful food for thought and ideas for planning what I now realize is the most exciting and important chapter of our lives.
I am ordering my own personal copy so that I can highlight all the great advice and passages, and also an extra to pass on to a friend.
Remember that old shampoo commercial "I told a friend, and she told two friends, and so on and so on and..." This is the book version!
