I'm no psychologist, but I do know that when someone tries to manipulate me, I notice right away. I found many manipulative techniques into this book and I did not like it. Many sales rep tried similar techniques on me and I simply left the store/dealer and I bought elsewhere. If I had a sales rep in my office who tried such techniques, I would have booted him/her out in a quarter of a second.

I'm not saying it's all bad, there are still a few good techniques that I see myself using on a daily basis but I sure would not recommend anyone applying it all.

Let's face it, there are quite a bunch of authors on the subject. What sets Gittomer apart from the others is the proximity the he creates between the reader and the book. Once again, easy to read, large fonts, funny drawings, quick tips and a marketing technique of his own to bring you to his website.

Jeffrey does not reinvent the world, he just makes it a smaller place to be. You will feel better equipped to meet prospective buyers.

My only two concerns are basically the fact that once you read one or two books of Jeffrey, you will feel that most of the stuff you read, you already have read into an other one of his books. Also, I feel there could be more pages.

It still is a good investment!

The good thing about Gittomer is the fact that all his books are easy to read and most of the techniques are transferable to whatever you might sell. No book will cover all possible objections but it is a good tool to give you a direction. Most of the stuff you will read in there are things that you already know but might not have practiced enough or refined to your personality to be effective at it.

No books will help you if you have a closed mind. Jeffrey helped me but it implies that you have to go into discomfort zones from times to times.
