The Last 10 Pounds Turned to be 16! Best Book Ever!, April 29 2010
I am 53 years old and struggled with getting off the last 10 pounds for years. It is mostly around my mid section. A lot of women can relate to this! Prior to reading this book, I was working out at the gym 5 days a week for years and only saw 1-2lb loss and gain at most! How discouraging. I thought because of my age, I had to accept that my metabolism had slowed down.
So one day I was cleaning out my book shelf and dusted off the Fit for Life book. I have never had to chance to read it back in the 80s when the kids were little. Before I throw it out, I thought I should a least read it once! What I read unlocked the Holy Grail. I found the missing piece I have been looking for! I was aiming to lose 10 pounds but ended up being 16!! Now everyone one wants to know my secret!
Now I weight 122lbs and wearing jeans I kept when I was 18! My husband decided to try it and he lost 17 lbs in 3 weeks. This is best book ever! By the way, I am not throwing the book out! This is a keeper.
May 13th Update: My husband who was always a couch potato has been moving non-stop. I have never seen so much energy from him. He is now fixing things around the house!
