3.0 out of 5 stars It's about time, but I hate the packaging, June 15 2010
It's great to see Tomb ... er, Relic Hunter arrive on DVD and at a bargain price, one gets exactly what they pay for. Reasonable quality video and no extras. Alliance has also skimped on packaging, because unless one is careful, it's easy to inadvertingly put pressure on the dvd and cause scuff marks on the dvd, if not more.
I'd recommend using the packges this show came in as a display piece than for storage. Quickly move those dvds out of the flimsy trays and into envelopes, proper dvd cases or even those dvd binder pages. That way, Tia Carrere can be enjoyed as often as one wants on television.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great set, but no book if bought in Canada (or through :(, July 25 2006
I'm always vary of dvd set releases that are dual sided double layer (or single) because one has to be twice has careful in handling. Upon opening this set to inspect and watch, I'm pleased to find this release is single-sided. Paying the extra money for this type of release is worth it.

But I was sad to find that the booklet that is supposed to come with this set is missing. After visiting Google to find out if this problem is isolated or not, it turns out whoever is supplying Canada with this set has goofed up and the book gremlins are having a good laugh. Hopefully this missing booklet problem will get fixed. One can visit the Warner Bros (Canada?) website and inform them of this issue. Hopefully with enough calls, Warner will do a something to remedy the situation. Sadly, quality control is a problem with Warner releases (recalling the Harry Potter DVD boxset had problems too).
