I love the title, Oct 20 2010
I know I often forget about the people behind discoveries and advances in science and life. Not only does this book have a great title but a real life drama unfolds as well. Here, Rebecca Skloot gives us the human story behind the cells that have done so much for medical research. I'm glad she took the time to delve into the mystery before more pieces of the story were lost. A very enjoyable read.

jam packed with information, Jan 17 2009
I've found a lot of helpful ideas in this book. I especially enjoy all the books the author suggests for clarification and to illustrate each chapter's subject.

Great writing, Jan 17 2009
Just a short note to add to so many other reviews. I used to collect comics as I kid but I actually enjoyed the characters more in this story than the comic book angle. I really enjoyed this book though I did skim over some of the longer detailed passages. Funnily enough I would then get into some dialogue and often went back to the detail to read it anyway. Very enjoyable.

hypnotic, Jan 7 2008
At the start of the film everything seemed to be a bit odd but once I got into the story it was hypnotic. Certainly not a film for everyone but I thought it was cleverly done.

a great read, Aug 16 2007
I wasn't sure about this book but a friend told me to give it a read and I'm so glad I did. What a refreshing look at the art of dating and finding love. I'll look at my own relationships with a fresh eye now. I've not read any of Mr. Mann's previous books but this one certainly was able to stand on its own. The characterizations are wonderful and the ideas presented are palatable even though I didn't think they would be. Thank you Mr. Mann. I can't wait to hunt out your other books.

real progression, Aug 8 2007
Anthony's writing is getting better all the time. He's created an almost real person with his Mr. Russell Quant character, flaws and all. I look forward to the next title in the series and hope there will be many more. Anthony Bidulka is a gifted author and I am so glad a friend recommended his books to me. Read them and enjoy.

the villainous mind, July 18 2007
I very much enjoyed this look into a superpowered villain's mind and yes, reading all those comic books as a child, I did often wonder why the villains did what they did. Here is the story that helps explain it all. I fond the main characters fascinating and enjoyed Mr. Grossman's book very much. I look forward to reading more of his titles in the future. Thanks Austin, it was a great read!

great little story, Mar 22 2007
This was an enjoyable book that I finished in one day. It reminded me what it was like to be in high school once again. The emotions and situations were all there and it was nice to see some realistic gay characters, real people that just happen to be gay. Mr. Sanchez is a good writer and I look forward to reading his other books.

really quite good, Oct 27 2004
My DVD of Latter Days finally showed up yesterday and I sat down after work to watch. It was a very well done story with believable characters and wrenching emotions. I did cry through a few parts. Being raised Mormon this story rang true to me but you certainly don't have to be a Mormon to enjoy this film. All in all a very nice story that I believe many people will enjoy.
