This was the first novel I've read by Ken Follett. My friends persuaded me to try one as they just love his writing. I thought, prior to reading this book, that he wrote very long, involved, historical fiction (which I don't like). I was pleasantly surprised to find this book involving a medical crisis. I usually read Robin Cook and Michael Palmer so am used to fast-paced medical thrillers. This was entertaining and well written but not what I expected from someone so famous. I think any writer of medical thrillers could have produced something along the same lines. Virus gets stolen, virus gets recovered (sorry for the spoiler). I wouldn't read it again but I enjoyed the couple of days it took me to finish it.

I can't wait for the release of this DVD and CD in a couple of weeks. I read, though, on Amazon.com that there is a deluxe version available on Celtic Thunder's website. When I checked there, I found a deluxe version for $29.99 which includes 2 discs with bonus features. The shipping is $4.99 to Canada as it ships from Ireland. I've ordered from them as I know I will enjoy the bonuses. If you're a true fan, I'd suggest this route, otherwise, if you're just learning about Celtic Thunder, then this is a good price and excellent value for a sampling of their songs and performances.

I was thrilled to receive this Deluxe edition, containing his biggest hits. However, the best thing is you also receive the DVD disk with most of the hits from the actual live show. What a treat for any Fanilow!! As the previous reviewer noted, he, certainly, does get better with age. I'll "play it over and over again" ......

Lots of fun for one of my three cats. The other two won't play with it. It stimulates her hunting senses as she finds and retrieves the food with her paws. I place the dry food in the tubes of varying lengths and she picks it out using her paws. My second cat, who is declawed, got frustrated as he couldn't pick out the food pieces without claws. My third cat, just looked at it and walked away. I guess it's not for everyone!

As the other reviewers have commented, it's truly a love story in every sense of the word. It made me laugh, it really made me cry, and it made me carry it with me wherever I went for the two days it took me to finish it. Last night, I actually cried at the ending - something I haven't done for years. So...... be prepared to be caught up in a love story like no other. I hope, one day, it too, will be made into a movie.

Just arrived yesterday - very easy to assemble and I love the fact that it comes with five choices for the water flow so you can have up to five different spouts flowing at once. I ordered from Amazon.ca and it arrived the next day. Very fast shipping. My cats have just looked at it so far but I haven't seen them drinking from it. The instructions do say that it can take cats awhile to check it out so I hope I'm around to watch. You can adjust the flow rate too so it can either sound like a fountain or be almost totally quiet. Quite ingenious. I know my previous dogs would have loved it - but aren't dogs a lot more interactive with most things! Overall, a good solid choice for any pet lover.

Now, it's the beginning of August and I've had to put it away in the box. None of my three cats will drink from it. I've tried all sorts of water adjustments and various water levels but still they prefer to drink from their bowls. I know it would be a perfect product for dogs though!

After seeing all the hype over this movie on tv, I was eagerly awaiting its release on DVD. It's an interesting premise - the final Apollo mission that "never" happened according to government sources. Or did it?? It documents, with actual film footage from previous missions, obviously, the moon landing of Apollo 18, the subsequent discovery of extra-terrestrial life, and the resulting implication on both the astronauts and their lives. It wasn't exactly what I had hoped for ... not enough action scenes, a lot of talking augmented with the footage of the moon landing. I'm afraid I wouldn't watch it again. I'm sure the actors did the best job with what little they had to work with. Perhaps it was better viewed on the big movie screen.

I love that this is the Bob Barker edition. It's very realistic following the format of the tv show. It's interesting to see the products introduced from video clips of the actual shows. My only complaint is that it seems to take quite a long time to load in between different games. My playing partner became easily bored and distracted. I'd recommend it if you have a lot of time one day to sit and play.

This is a lot of fun! It's amazing to see Vanna and Pat come out as their MII characters. The format follows the tv show exactly - even having commercial breaks (where we can play mini-games if we like). I really recommend this for anyone who thinks it's easy playing the game at home. It's not -when the clock is ticking and the pressure's on. You'll wonder where the last few hours have gone - very addictive!!
