5.0 out of 5 stars Each book is better than the last, Sep 5 2011
A story like they used to write them. Although after reading the first book in the series, I wasn't sure if I would read more, I'm so glad that I did! Each book in this series is better than the last. I loved this book on so many levels.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good story about life, Dec 2 2010
This review is from: Finny: A Novel (Paperback)
The kind of book that I would read twice in a row, just because I want to stay in the story.

By coincidence, read it when had just lost someone close to me.
The feelings that her main caracter goes through are extremely accurate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really entertaining, funny, smart., Nov 25 2007
This book is fabulously entertaining and I couldn't put it down. It's funny and smart. One of those books where you're sad that you've finished it. I'm currently reading the sequel The First Assistant which seems just as good and really hope that these authors reunite for a third. I've read many books in the same genre lately ("Something Borrowed", "Bridget Jones Diary" and sequel, "Little white lies" and more). If you like this genre, The Second/First assistant books and the Bridget Jones books should really be at the top of your buying list, the others are far behind (although I still enjoyed them).
