Oh lord, how is it that mental illness in the form of religious zealots show up to bash "The Shack". I read the shack and found it to be a reassuring and comfort giving book to those in pain over tragic loss. I also found the book to lose its credibility in the last 10 percent of the story, but not because I know that God can't possible be black, let alone cook. But despite my findings that the book was not one I would recommend, I didn't whirl into a frenzy to trash it, hurling around my own pious authority that I know what God must look like. Get back on your meds Calgary reader! "Burning..." is a misguided effort!
