This Music On Vinyl release basically sounds the same as the CD except for being slightly more dynamic, making it sound a little clearer and less fuzzy with the bass. Having said that the dynamics should have been better still. The bottom end drops in and out depending on where it was recorded, but overall has a warm sound. The vinyl itself is flawless no surface noise to speak of.

Very dynamic a lot of punch to this record. I would like to have heard a little more on the bottom end. The second track had some sibilance which is very annoying. I've only rarely had that problem with other albums. The vinyl itself was good and quiet.

A little overwhelming with the upper end for me, the cymbals were a little to forward in the overall presentation forcing me to turn down the treble a bit. Good dynamic range the lower end a little light. Vinyl itself very quiet.

Definetly the worst sounding record of the first three albums by Kiss. Just a bad job done in the recording studio. The upper end doesn't have much detail and the whole recording sounds kind of fuzzy. The vinyl itself was great, very quiet.

No difference between CD and Vinyl. At first it sounds like a full range sound but after awhile I could tell the very low end was lopped off. It sounds like there is bass but you can't feel it, which is the best effect of bass. I have no complaints about the vinyl or any other parts of the sound. I wish record engineers would realize that sound is more than notes, there is a feel to the music there are vibrations that make it worth listening to, don't cut that low end out because we supposedly can't hear it, because we can feel it. The vinyl itself is quiet.

It's a great collection of songs. The recordings themselves however like all the Abba releases I have heard are not audiophile masterpieces. Upper end detail and low end extension are not included on a lot of the tracks. The sound is a little bit small for my taste. The vinyl itself is good quality not alot of surface noise.

Good Record, Good quality Vinyl. Not quite the usual Pink Floyd quality in sound. Just a tiny bit on the bright side and dynamics are fine but not mind blowing.

I'll never forget being in the basement of a friend playing pool and listening to this album time and again great memories. Having said that now being an audiophile and appreciating good sound this album doesn't sound good. I always enjoy this album as long as I'm not looking for great sound. The vinyl on this new offering is the best thing about this release because my old one had nothing but crackles and pops. The recording of this was bad but the concerts were great. As has been mentioned in other reviews this is not the millenium concert album, it is the Alive! album reissued from the 70's. Amazon has it labelled wrong.

This review is from: Kiss [180g Vinyl LP] (LP Record)
This release seems to be a little in and out. Some of the songs sound better than others. Lacks a little detail on the upper end on some songs and the bottom end also not as deep on some tracks. Once again the Vinyl itself on this reissue is great very quiet.

I never did own this on vinyl till now so I have nothing to compare it to. I think this is the best sounding album from the first three Kiss issued. The only issue is the lack of bottom end on some of the tracks, other than that the presentation is very good. The vinyl itself is once again very good no surface noise to speak of.
