everyday thang is VINTAGE bone.so ej really need to evaluate what he/she think bone sounds like.that aside from a few other trax this is the only song worth listening too.i do agree with rupert that this soundtrack is kinda off. because it doesn't represent the time period that well.its missing artists like, naughty by nature das efect digable planets de la soul outkast das efect wu-tang ice cube why biggie has 2 songs?

hip-hop's best kept secret, Aug 7 2003
this album along with thug on da line has to be the most overlooked albums of 2001 PERIOD.this album especially stands out from what was released that year.listening to it more and more just makes you love it even more.its the gift that keeps on giving.granted everybody can't get into bone, and some people had to let them grow on them.because they camed with a style that everybody wasn't quite into.and they just seemed different.so in the end it becomes about taste.even so their pressence and talent in hip-hop can't be denied or over looked and shouldn't be.neither should this hidden gem, bizzy has a style thats so spiritualy, and socialy aware and thought provoking and has a sense of healing to it.where as krayzie bone is more angsty, millitant and somewhat political and violent.bizzy has a style all his own like the other members. never grow shows this perfectly,a song thats so beautifully crafted its just eerie,it really gets into your soul.just like father and jesus.don't doubt me lets everybody know his troubls with bone and ruthless.theres honestly no song i hate off this album, wich is astounding considering its a independent release, and people automaticaly assum the production is gonna be weak but thats so far from the truth its not even funny.to bad he got [hurt] by two different labels.this album should have been a lot bigger then what it was,and deserves more then what it got.

honest and realistic, Nov 4 2002
I love this movie. Really, really love it. I went to a school like this with kids like these.I was in the cafeteria and some other places durring the days racially-charged situations almost went to critical mass, and I was part of a group discussion the following week, in which nothing was resolved. Which is what I like most about this movie. It doesn't end with everyone singing. Or dancing, or marching towards the camera, or anything like that. The goomba and the Spike Lee guy duke it out while the Asian girl despairs, and the white guy and black girl embrace each other hopelessly. That is life. Some differences will never be resolved, and the best you can hope for is that *some* people will reach each other. I was praying all along that this would not have some pat ending that could never have happened at my school, and I was rewarded. There are no resolutions, just moments.

kate and the ending ruined it for me,totally unrealistic, Oct 20 2002
theres no way...that kate would have gotten her friendship back.and if and i do mean IF it wouldn't be no where near that easy.but that aside the movie was quite watchable.i hope people realize that sometimes friends will put their job ahead of your friendship.and quite frankly thats pretty much what kate did.and we all know the witness protection program isn't going to help mira sorvino's charecter lmao.but gr8 movie

more so a observation then a review, Oct 2 2002
so i gave it 5 stars to be fair.but what i wanted to say is,regina was kinda out of place during the 80's.she was like 23 or 24 when she first camed out,but she didn't sound like her other R&B counterparts in the same age range.they was making the standard 80's music.while she was doing a VERY grown up adult contemperary,r&b,jazz music.pretty interesting coming from someone who was in their early 20's.now that she's older it doesn't seem "different" now.

would have been better if the wire work was ggod, Sep 24 2002
this is more like a 3 and a half stars rating.what brought this movie down for me was the sloppy hong kong wire work.the people who was doing it seemed like they never did it before.it looked so awful it was just corny.wich brought this otherwise decent flick down.the mood and scenematogrphy was good,so was the story.but the attempts at the john woo style action failed in most scenes.some looked good but for the most part they failed horribly with the action.if they had suceeded in the action part this would have been the best strait to video movie i had ever seen.but if they make a sequel they should learn from their mistakes

this isn't real hip-hop music,THIS IS REAL RAP MUSIC, Aug 8 2002
this is the way hard rap was meant to be.....deep,dark,and thought provoking.because songs like my block and sellout are just all too real.theres different sub genres of hip-hop/rap. but as for hard edged street rap goes this is how its suppose to be done.all you other "so called hard rappers" need to learn this is how you do it.most rappers try to walk a tight rope of being hard and pop at the same time but still losses credibility.and the ones whom does do a great job just did it by accident.but face is just keeping it real.and as cliched as that sound he did a great job too.

Slightly above average, July 30 2002
SADE and BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY are 2 of my favorite artists.so i get real hype when i hear something new from one of them.but this cd was a bit of a dissapointment.this sade album lacks the organic feel of her past cds.and its sounds a little bit too modern.and her band seems to be missing. plus the beats are mostly digital, and not live precutions.theres nothing wrong with drum machines, but the ones on here just wasn't interesting. neither was the rest of the digital music.although songs like my hearts been broken are beautiful, and a few other tracks too.but for the most part this album is kinda slow and boring.but it still blew away most of the other garbage that was out at the time.but if this album was from some other singer then this debut would of been off da hook.but sense we know its sade and that she is capable of much more this fact kills any good feed back that would have been given to a debut artist.it just feels average compared to her old work in most fans eyes.BUT most of the problem isn't from sade its the lack luster band.other then that sade's vocals are just as good as they were several years ago.HOPEFULLY if she makes a follow up the band will be more involved.

it grew on me more, July 20 2002
his lyrics and messages are 5 star material all by itself.TM99 was more or less away for krayzie to get out his aggression on his enemies.but on this one krayzie drops some serious knowledge on this cd.time after time, talk with myself can't hustle forever, etc, what deep heartfelt lyrics,SOME of the beats are not as good as i thought they would be.BUT his lyrics is what REALLY drew me into the cd.its a shame bone don't get notice for their GOOD and positive lyrics.also i'm verry interested in lareece her flow is really good.i'm ESPECIALY looking forward to the knight riduz dropping a album.c'mon krayzie don't let them and lareece collect dust.
