Decent, Dec 5 2003
This is a decent CD, but not quite as good as Mezzanine. I was hoping for more lyrical goodness from MA, instead I was greated with a lot of instrumental tracks and lackluster vocals. Despite its shortcomings, however, it will be one of my main CD's for quite awhile.

Worthwhile, but not as good as it could have been, Nov 21 2003
My view of animation collection video's is that they rarely live up to the expectation. This video was definately not as good as I expected, while the animation itself delivered, the story lines were lacking and the dialog's were empty. For those that are a fan of the Matrix world, this is a must have and will be viewed many times. Otherwise, rent it and watch it once.

Well done, Nov 21 2003
This movie definately wasn't a remake of the first Matrix, and definately sets the stage for a wonderful final episode. The sense of hopelessness and darkness is well maintained and developed over the length of the movie, with the only hope coming at the very end. This is a movie I will watch many times, so owning the DVD was well worth the cash.

Wonderful new music to me, Nov 16 2003
After listening to years of heavy metal and industrial, but never being able to find a comfortable middle with Enya/Enigma I was amazed to find Massive Attack. This is definately something I have been searching for, and as the first MA CD I have bought so far, I'm amazed and overjoyed. The changing lyrical tones and voices mixed with the techno heavy beat background makes this CD a regular in my rotation

Absolutely Amazing, Nov 7 2003
After reading many of King's books throughout high school and later into college, I readily tired of the visual allegory attempted by a writing style that I associated more with script writing. The Gunslinger, however, completely changed my expectations of all science fiction and fantasy authors. The unusual writing style, the changing mental patterns and awareness of the characters is stunning and creates a challenge to read and understand. For those tiring of the Forgotten Realms style drivel, immerse yourself in a book that has the power to change your perceptions of the genre.

Useful, Nov 5 2003
Definately a useful book, but it missed some of the subleties of doing faux techniques, such as how to soften some of the looks by going over the glaze by rubbing out a second time with a paint soaked rag (rubbing out technique). I completely remodeled a room and finished it with the rubbing out technique and I really enjoy the look. I also would suggest getting the Behr Faux Techniques dual CD-rom set. I picked one up at my local Home Depot, and it was amazing the differences in techniques, but by using both resources, I found a method and a look that suited me.

Tons of information, Jun 28 2003
This book included massive amounts of information on the pre-election Bush, plus quite a bit leading up to 9/11. It makes a pretty clear case for how the mainstream and loud media has continued to conveniently forget and ignore anything about the Bush clan that would frighten or confuse the message that Karl Rove has forced upon the United States. I encourage everyone to read this book, but as well, keep track of what is going on in the foreign press and where Mr. Bush has led our great country.

Not Petzold, unfortunately, Jun 28 2003
Unfortunately this wasn't written by the master, Petzold. However, it does an OK job, but be prepared to spend a lot of money on other books to compliment this one. I would suggest the O'reilly book Essence of C++ and the book Thinking in C++ by Bruce Eckel, plus the C++ reference from the O'Reilly series.

Lack of a backbone, Jun 28 2003
As with most extremists, Ann has regretfully ignored the common people and will not supply anyone with her email address. In an online poll of political websites, the only email addresses published were those of the leftist authors who welcome and encourage discussion and debate. The book was horrible, her information on McCarthy ignorant of facts. Ann's research for this book was her life while she was in puberty, clearly clouding her view of the world. Ms. Coulter, what man beat you? Who caused this massive amount of hate and vituperance? How can you continue to slander everyone with a different view? I am genuinly curious how Ms. Coulter feels about Senator John McCain and his centrist views while calling himself a Republican, but unfortunately I can't ask her

Very good for C Windows API Programming, April 20 2003
This book came to me highly recommended, and I went through the first few chapters very quickly, however I quickly found that much of the book is dedicated to the graphics handlers, which do make up most of the API, however I don't have a lot of use for graphics programming in designing pseudo real time controllers and database type programs. The author is amazing, however, and this will always be within my programming library.
