I was really disappointed by this album. However, I have been disappointed with most of Metallica's releases over the last few years. I am assuming this is because they simply grew a different direction than I did.

This album has to be THE best Metallica ever. I wore out my old cassette when in high school. The bone crunching power of fight fire with fire, haunting melody of Kirk's guitar in fade to black, the awesome break neck speed of trapped under ice. This album was BY FAR the BEST METALLICA ever.

Mr Toxen was not afraid to go into detail. He explained quick fixes to rapidly secure your machine, as well as more detailed examples. I loved this book and even used the ideas to harden my Solaris servers at work.

Toxen helps to secure you server fast by teaching not only what are the services to turn off, but WHY you should turn them off. He also has great ideas on educating your users and establishing policies. This book is especially helpful for peolpe new to Linux and want to quickly secure their system.

This is by far the BEST Manowar album they produced. Everyone of these songs rock! Each one takes you to a magical fantasy idea, that makes you feel as if nothing cannot be done. Gates of Valhalla is magical, March for Revenge makes you want to kick your some jerk's butt, Revelation makes you wonder at the power of GOD, and Hatred drives you to a stomping pit. This album is one of the land marks of early heavey metal.

This album ranks only behind Lightning and Puppets. While not as refined as those two, it has the pure raw Metal feel. This album was definatly not over produced like their latest albums, but has a perfect feel to it. Lots of power and great riffs. A Must for any Metallica fan.

This album has no equal; although it is surpassed by Ride the Lightning. This was Metallica in it's prime, just before they busted into mainstream. Touring with Oz, they were what Metal stood for. I thought this book to be useful, and I learned a good deal about public key cryptography and ssh in general. Sure there are some things I felt out of place (the server discussion in chapter 3 I felt could have come later). I thought the book to be useful overall. The discussion on configure/make/make install; while mundane to an experienced admin, would be invaluable for a novice. I felt that this book has value as a reference in SSH. The only suggestion I have is that a more thorough explanation of authenticating with public keys would have been helpful. In site of that, I believe this will be an excellent book with a few minor tweaks in a second edition. I am sure Ms. Carasik is reading these comments and taking them into consideration. The previous reviews of one star are a bit harsh. The comments about HOWTOs and man pages by previous reviewers are not necessary. If you look hard enough you can find all you need to do anything in man pages and HOWTOs. Books are for those of use who would rather have something more convenient.

I hated the original Dune movies, and I did not even read the book yet! However, I have read the books and am a fan of Dune. thismovies was true to the book, as it could be. I loved it!!!
