Zepp's finest hour, Feb 28 2003
In my mind this is the definitive Zepp album, bar none. Don't get me wrong, everything up to this record was great but Graffitti was to me the pinnacle of their career! The sonic production (by Page again, of course) was so heavy yet it sounded years ahead of it's time. Plant's wails were spine tingling, especially on "In my time of dying", what a incredible piece of molten blues(the best tune on the record). Highlights include "The Rover", the eerie "In the light", the bombastic "Wanton song", the trippy "Bron-yr-aur", the straight ahead rock of "Sick again" and one of the most underrated Zepp tunes "Ten years gone"(what a powerful song). The first time I played this record I knew this was it, the power and the fury all rolled up into this double record. I would give this 6 stars if I could. One of the heaviest pure rock albums ever, mind blowing!! An absolute must have! I just can't find enough words to praise this masterpiece! Hail to Page, Plant, Bonham and Jones from one of the Zepp's biggest fans. Enjoy!!..

[Darn] good 80's metal, Feb 28 2003
I couldn't believe I could finally get this band on disc. I do have the debut, Without Love and In heat on cassette but had to upgrade to disc. This is well worth the money for this truly talented, underated 80's band. I liked the idea of getting a good mix of some of their best tunes like Hold on to 18, I'm the king, Nature of the beach, Nasty,Nasty and Does she or doesn't she (one of my personal faves). This band should've been as big as Ratt,Crue, Bon jovi etc. Musically and lyrically (these guys could really write some catchy hook laden tunes) they were a cut above the rest. I saw them open for KISS in 1985 (Philly) and they rocked. A shame it was pretty much over after Without love. I remember good times when I put this baby in and crank it. Hey, you will too, I guarantee it!! This is a must addition to any catalog. So open up a cold one and turn it up.....Enjoy!!

A true gem!!!, Feb 23 2003
This is one of those records I stumbled upon in the mid 1980's. I bought this tape off of a friend and decided to give it a whirl, having been bitten by " Slide it in ". To my surprise it was gritty, bluesy and ballsy all at once. The production shines, thanks to Martin Birch. As where "Slide it in" is more straight ahead rock, Come an get it, is more blues based. It grabbed me and left me thinking why the hell didn't this record get any airplay anywhere.(Wow) The songs are simple yet tight, Ian Paice's drumming is superb and Neil Murray, Bernie Marsden, Mickey Moody and John Lord shine. " Don't break my heart again", "Wine, women an song", "Child of Babylon", "Hit an Run" and my favorite "Till the day I die", just flow and caress you! This is real blues inspired rock from a bunch of incredibly talented musicians. I can't believe this record is so obscure, it's a crime. This is a must have for anyone who likes good, honest blues rock. A gem from start to finish. Pop open a tall one and turn it up. Enjoy!!!

Mind Blowing !!!!!!, Feb 23 2003
It was a Saturday nite in 1985, we were drinking beer and a bud put this tape on and it just totally blew my mind. This was probably one of the best rock albums to come out of the 80's period. Midnite Dynamite was not only a fun and rocking album, the songs were well written and catchy, even the ballad "Walkin Away" is awesome. What a shame these guys never got the success they deserved (Their live shows were even more amazing) They were much better than Poison, Winger and god forbid Warrant! To the guy who opened for them at The Strand in Sunbury, Pa, I saw them there once and they rocked the joint!!From a thirty something rocker to anyone who likes good old fun rock, this gem is for you. Put it on, open a tall one and enjoy!!! (5 stars)

Triumph-Stages, Feb 12 2003
I really like this record. The sound quality is pretty good for mid 80's production. The studio albums are more crisp but this record is raw and you can feel the electricity. Having seen Triumph in 1986, I can say this is very close to being there. The song selection is good, the playing is tight and it seems like the boys are having a good time. Listen to the crowd interaction on "Laying it on the line", wow, that is what a live album is all about. This is a must have for a true 80's rock/metal fan.

Triumph's best, Feb 11 2003
This is my favorite triumph record. It is on whole a solid record from start to finish. The production is excellent and the playing is heavy and very tight. This is in my opinion the pinnacle of Triumph's creativity. The drum sound is so big and the guitar playing is exceptional. "Rock out, Roll on', Follow your heart", "Spellbound",the led Zep feel of "Cool down" and my favorite track on the record "Stranger in a strange land", rock with a passion sorely lacking in today's music. This is a must have. 5 stars.

Triumph-Never Surrender, Feb 11 2003
This is a very good Triumph record. It rocks hard but also has more melodic tunes. The production is good and the playing is solid. Rik Emmitt is in fine form and on the title track (My personal favorite), he is flawless. A world of fantasy is also a really strong song, and the Ronald Reagan intro to Too much thinking is just too cool. My only complaint is the record is too short, only 8 songs. I would still say this is a must have.
