1.0 out of 5 stars Call it Dawson's Insanity, Jul 20 2004
the episodes of this series that I did see were so terrible both in casting and writing that I almost burst out laughing at how poorly done it really was. I've seen better writing and romance on Spanish soap operas.

1.0 out of 5 stars No wonder jessica beil left the show..., Jul 20 2004
It is not a big secreat that Jessica Biel did not like this show or the fact that the charecter she played always got in trouple the most or had bad taste in boyfriends. Every week it seemed, she got taken to the cleaners with something. Anyway she finally had the sense to leave the show and will hopefully find better movie roles at other studios.

4.0 out of 5 stars These are funny shows., Jul 15 2004
I was disapointed by the recent movie on Garfield, but I still enjoy the Sunday Comic strip on the fat cat, still written by Jim Davis, and these shows that aired on CBS over eight years were also quite good, I am glad they are coming to DVD, to be placed along side the same collection as Looney Tunes; The Golden Collection DVD set.

4.0 out of 5 stars I still like it., Jul 13 2004
Like many teens in the mid 70's, I did have a crush on Lynda Carter, and the Wonder-Woman TV show was something I watched over the five years or so it was on CBS. The series has actually aged pretty well, and it was in it's own way, an honest TV show. It did not try to pretend that it was great television but on the other hand, it was not really pure camp either. There was a bit of substance to the show and some of them were not bad. Lynda played it in a straight forward manner and it worked for what it was.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, it's not bad., Jul 13 2004
Well the Stargate idea works a bit better as a TV show then it does a movie. The casting, writing, visual effects, production design, cinematograpghy, and types of stories that they do is not bad. In fact it works better then most any other science fiction Tv show I ever seen. Better then Alien Nation, X-Files, Galactica, V, Buck Rogers, Quantum Leap, the 70's Hulk TV show, the Six Million Dollar Man, and the more recent Outer Limits Tv show. Stargate is better then all of them.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is Dallas in sci-fi form, Jul 13 2004
Both these TV movies and the short lived series that followed were cheesy soap opera plots put into a science fiction form. It was pretty much a case of stories where someone was trying to stab someone else in the back, someone was sleeping with someone elses girlfriend and the rest of that daytime soap genre. In this second movie, two characters played by Sarah Douglas and Jane Badler struggle for the leadership of the alien ships that have conquered earth and it leads to one killing the other and that's it. Oh yeah, and there is a silly romance that goes on between the charecters played by Faye Grant and Marc Singer (but I won't go there). End result, you are better off watching One Live to Live then this phooney balooney series.

2.0 out of 5 stars Defalco has a real ego...., Jul 11 2004
well, this book appears to have been DeFalco's attempt to say everything wrong about which writer and artist did with the Hulk over the years. Other then the Lee/Kirby issues, DeFalco seems to belive that no one else ever did the book or charecter justice. Please Mr. DeFalco, put it to bed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Badley scripted and direction, Jul 10 2004
This was Spielberg's first Dreamworks picture and it was really awful. Mostly in poor script and lack of direction. The subject material was not for a director with his style of film making, and the poor performance of this movie has pretty much been the case for every picture this joke of a studio has continued to do since.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is patheic...., Jul 9 2004
Big rip off of the early Green Arrow stories dneby Denney O'Neill, except here the artwork is so bad that the artists look like they need to learn how to draw before they do anymore comics.

3.0 out of 5 stars If they would just give them a better DVD release., Jul 4 2004
I was disapointed by this set. These were just re-released shows on DVd that had already been released on previous DVD sets. There are reall no new episodes featured, and very little in the way of bonus features. Expect the less of everything from Warners.
