Bluegrass doesn't get any better than this. I only wish I could see Laurie and her friends perform.

Austin City Limits was the first time I had heard Kate Wolf and I was hooked. I hadn't heard of her passing till a few years later when Mary of Peter Paul and Mary mentioned what a great talent she was. I have bought many of her CD's since that Austin show and a few of her Videos too and I get info from her website.

Pacheco/RedtailHawk, Medicine Wheel,Across the Great Divide. I have several Kate Wolf Cd's and I seem to listen to this one the most, but there are many other songs and its hard to pick a favorite. Kate wasn't a country bluegrass stompin kind of singer but a beautiful folk singer. I wish I could go to the Kate Wolf Festival held in California every year,where a line up of wellknown singers sing there versions of her music. The information is on her website.

I really enjoy this CD. The songs are different than the usual holiday songs. I especially like Hot Buttered Rum, but its hard to pick a favorite.

I don't think I've heard a dud from Hank Snow. If you like older traditional country music, you can't go wrong with this singer.
And I always liked his style of playing guitar.

It took me awhile but this is my favorite recording of Gordon Lightfoot music beside his Gord's Gold. Almost any recording of his I appreciate.
