Perfect introduction, April 3 2012
I've been installing and configuring Windows servers since Windows NT4, and terminal servers since Windows 2000. This book was the perfect companion for migrating to Windows 2008 R2. Everything needed was in there. I feel it would also be a valuable resource for technicians not familiar with Remote Desktop technology at all. But you must already be familiar with Windows Server and Active Directory concepts before reading this book.

Works fine, even after a few accidental droppings, Jan 14 2011
I typically drop my USB drives at least one a week each, as well as anything I hold in my hands. I've ordered and used 2 of these WD 1TB HD and use them daily for work. I carry them around, they freeze (it's real winter down here), they get some wate on them. They still don't make any suspect noise after many weeks of this abuse. I recommend this product to anyone who can't handle things carefully :-) The missing star is for the USB cable, which uses a regular USB plug for the computer end, but a special plug for the HD end. So if you forget your cable home when you go meet your big customer...*&!"?*&%$... Bring that damn cable... Bring that damn cable... - 2012 : That cable is now available from several suppliers, so I bough a few and leave them everywhere. As of April 2012, the two drives are still working perfectly after even more abuse (dropped, extreme cold, extreme humidity)!

Make your own bra - Finally!, Jan 14 2011
I've been looking for years for a book like this. Commercial bras never seem to fit me, so I wanted to make my own. But even if I'm quite good at making "regular" clothing, I couldn't figure out how to draw a bra. This book offer several very interesting bras patterns, as well as swimwear, nightwear, corset, and much more. But don't expect to be able to use the book if you're totally new to sewing (unless you're really good at self-learning). You should at least be able to read a sewing pattern and have sewn at least a few simple garments before. But don't be discouraged by my warning, its much more easier than many people think to make your own garments. And they fit much more better!

Just what you would expect, Jan 14 2011
If you've bought or read books from Microsoft about their own software in the past, there won't be any surprises. This book is just what you should expect from its title page : a book from Microsoft to help you self-learn how to use Microsoft Project 2007. It may not be the best book around, but its a decent one as are all Microsoft books I've read to date (which is a awful lot...).

Excellent book for self-learner, Jan 14 2011
If you're computer literate in the Windows environment AND have basic knowledge of what is project management, this book is all you need to learn to use Microsoft Project. It is easy to understand and contains very appropriate examples with just the right amount of printscreens. This is one of the books that makes you think the author knows his/her stuff. Not too heavy either, so you can carry it with you. I definitely recommend it!

Tout y est, Aug 15 2010
Excellent livre.
