The Peter Principle is as enjoyable a read as when it was originally written in 1969 by Dr. Lawrence Peter. The style of writing is entertaining, since Dr. Peter delighted in creating words to describe his theories when no appropriate descriptors currently existed, and the chapters are short allowing the book to be picked up or put down even for brief intervals. The subject matter, however, is not fiction and remains as valid today as when the original edition was a best seller. It would have been nice to have known the reissue date of 2009 prior to purchase. Great read!
