Very centering - Great way to start the day!, Dec 17 2012
I've been looking to expand my teaching repertoire. I have practiced a variety of Yoga styles and mostly taugh Vinyasa Flow and Envision Yoga. I have felt over the years more people people need more Yin energy - release and surrender. There is a wonderful centering and growding exercise at the start of each practice. I very much enjoy Kim's explinations, her tone of voice and flow. I don't feel I need to look at the screen because the directives are very precise, as they should be. I wish there were a few classes to choose from since the short version (daily practice-40 mins) and the full class-1h15m is about the same but I really enjoy getting right in to this practice. Need more YIN!

Huge! Warm! Cozy! but a little itchy, Aug 16 2012
It's almost too big - it spills over the queen size bed when we lay it on top. It does take lots of space when you are packing but it's luxurious! Nice and warm. When we were moving and packed up all our stuff we decided to sleep in it again and we found it very itchy. We are going to sew flat sheets on the inside. We bought this for our 2 week snowmobile trip up Baffin Island in the spring, so we need the warmth. Plus since we're on snowmobiles and have the space for more luxury. Our 2 dogs will be sleeping with us too.

A must have for Yoga teachers!, Dec 15 2011
This book is so incredible; clear and well thought out. I got Volume 1 as part of our mandatory readings for the Yoga teacher training (Frog Lotus Yoga-amazing!) and we used it all the time in anatomy class. Some students had brought Volume 2 and we referred to it a lot. I recently purchased a copy and it's been assisting me in designing specific classes. For example, I covered a Yoga for Runners class for my friend and I really wanted the participants to get a deep stretch in the legs and this book broke down the tiniest variations to stretch slightly different parts of the muscles! I made the book available to students after class because it puts a visual to what's going on in their bodies! It is useful.

Perfect for teaching yoga, Dec 15 2011
I got these for my iPad. I chose these because of the reviews and also the price was much better than fancier looking ones I was going to get. I didn't find my iPad was loud enough when I teach my morning yoga classes so I wanted to add some force! I teach in a school gym and the ventilation was too loud. They work very well and have a much more full sound than the iPad. The ventilation was repaired before I had a chance to try them out but no matter, they sound great and I fully appreciate that they are rechargeable! They are compact and come with a carrying bag which is super handy. I believe I will take them with me throughout my travels and leave the laptop at home!

Hard to get into, Dec 15 2010
I feel like I'm really out of the spiritual loop when I read this. I think it's just going to take time to get in to it. I have to read the whole thing for this course I'm in.. so I hope I get in to it! :)

Increadible pictures, Dec 15 2010
I am so amazed by the pictures in the book. I am dissapointed in Amazon for not packing it better because the corners are damaged. The book is much smaller in size then I expected. I thought it was going to be larger than 8 x 11.5 but I am pleased with it's size especially since I am attending a teacher training far away from home and have to carry all the supplies along with me!

Used it LOTS, Aug 17 2009
When I first got this I listened to it a lot and for a few months. I would do physical activity or use public transportation while listening to it. It really inspired me! One of the main reasons, I don't use it now, is b/c somehow only a couple tracks for on my mp3 and it's on shuffle. I like to listen to it in a row. Though when they pop up here and there, I normally listen to them! Some people think it's boot camp like. I just think it's practical information that can really help free you from your inner and outer misery.

nice, Aug 17 2009
I have the self-esteem one from Louise and I find it very useful. I can listen to it anytime and repeat what's being said on the CD and instantly feel even better about my life. I will have to listen to this one more often and get back with more info. For now though.. I recommend the Self-Esteem one!

Kinda sucked, Aug 17 2009
watched the whole thing in confusion. It's done a way that's just a twisted as all the drama around MJ's accusations. It seems really amateur and I didn't really get much from it. If you're looking for some real Triumphs in Micheal's life, I don't recommend this DVD. I want to return it. If there was anything I liked is how people put together theories on who was responsible for all the trials in his life. It's really short too.. less then one hour.

ideal for many life aspects, July 31 2009
I really like this CD cause there are many short healing meditations focused on whatever issues you need to resolve. If you have relationship problems, money, work, or whatever... There are brief explanations and then goes in to the meditation.. So niiiiiice!
