5.0 out of 5 stars Common sense stuff we should have learned growing up!, April 10 2013
Undiet is awesome. I took a cooking workshop with Meghan many years ago, and she has had a huge influence on my whole outlook on health and nutrition. I am a vegetarian, and was when I met her. I thought I was eating healthy before... and quickly realized I had a long way to go — but not in a daunting annoying kind of way. In a wow, I had no idea that I've been so passive about what I have been putting in my body kind of way. It was actually empowering. She's honest and non-judgey, and will open your mind.

She doesn't necessarily back everything up with "science" or data, but to be perfectly honest, her approach resonates way more with me because of it. A lot of it is straight up common sense, and listening to your intuition.

I've seen some negative comments here, and everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but I think they come from a place of resistance to change. Meghan doesn't come out and say "you should do this or that", but she encourages you to make small changes. You don't need to drastically change your diet overnight... but make yourself AWARE. Learn about your food and what you put in your body, and start taking steps to do some common sense things like increase your water consumption, increase your fresh fruits/veg, get active, and reduce your toxic load!

Her writing style is witty and approachable, it's fun to read, and her recipes are always fantastic.
After 5 years of reading Meghan's material, I still base the majority of my cooking on recipes of hers.

Meghan, you inspire me. You've had the biggest influence on the health decisions that I make day to day.
Keep up the good work!

5.0 out of 5 stars Why didn't I buy this earlier?, April 30 2009
I should have bought this book a long time ago... There is lots to find online, but this is the definitive resource! Can't believe I've been able to get by without it. If you work with Textpattern, or are thinking about giving it a try, you definitely need this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Resource!, April 30 2009
I almost didn't buy this book because of the title. I thought this book was about redesigning websites to look "web 2.0", but in fact, its purely about the process involved in redesigning websites, bringing them their 2.0 status. Unbelievably useful information. I have already started using the client questionnaires recommended in the book. The core process outlined in the book is brilliant. I'm really impressed by this book. Do not buy this if you are expecting a "how-to design websites" book. This book is intended for sharing a workflow that works for redesigning websites. Its made me rethink my own work processes... and adapt new strategies for working with new clients, and even existing ones.
