Correcting Your Title Listing on Amazon.ca
We distinguish between bibliographic and descriptive content. Bibliographic content refers to the title, author, pricing, subject or availability status of a title. Descriptive content is the information that is supplied to a title which goes beyond the basic bibliographic information. Examples of descriptive content include book descriptions, excerpts, publisher comments, author comments, inside flap copy, and table of contents.
The fastest way to correct bibliographic information and descriptive content is via Vendor Central. Log into your account and go to manage items. You will then be able to search for the item you wish to correct via the EAN, UPC, ISBN, or ASIN.
Another option is to use our catalogue update form. On the detail page for the item you'd like to correct, you will see a section midway down the page labeled "Product Details". This section includes a link that reads: "Would you like to update product info?" Click this link and sign in. You will then be taken to the Catalogue Update form where you can submit changes to our catalogue data. Note that you cannot correct all fields using this form; only the following fields are supported:
Your corrections, if approved, should appear online within three business days after submission.
Corrections to fields that are not supported by these forms may be sent to Customer Service. Please be sure to include the ISBN/ASIN of your item listed along with full details of the change requested and the name and e-mail address of someone we can contact if we have questions.
After we've processed your submission, the correction should be posted within five business days.
