Ships-From Location

Amazon requires a ships-from location in your Seller Profile. The ships-from location is the city and province from which you ship your products to fulfill orders on Amazon.ca. It is displayed with your products on offer listing pages and provides buyers with a general idea of how long delivery may take.

When you register as an Amazon.ca seller, your ships-from location is set to your credit card billing address by default. You can edit the ships-from location on the Store Settings page in your Seller Account. If you select Canada or the United States, a box will appear for entering the postal code.

Your ships-from location will be displayed during the item listing process. If the displayed ships-from location is incorrect, edit it on the Store Settings page, and then list the item again. (If you are not logged in as a registered seller, you will not see the ships-from location until you reach the listing confirmation page.)

Shipping Internationally

When you select an international shipping option, your products can also be purchased by a buyer residing outside of Canada. You may choose to ship to Canada and the United States only or to Canada and all international addresses supported by our Marketplace Payments service.

When fulfilling an order to a buyer outside Canada, you must use the recipient's full name and address on the shipped package. (Certain addresses in Japan and Singapore do not require a city.) The address should be typewritten or printed by hand in ink using capital letters, per postal regulations. The last line of the address must show the full country name in capital letters.

There may be additional taxes and duties imposed on international transactions. You may be subject to foreign tax obligations by selling to buyers outside Canada. You are solely responsible for complying with all domestic and foreign tax laws with respect to your sale and/or shipment of items internationally.
