Assistance for AOL Users

America Online users might experience one of the following problems while attempting to play media files from Amazon.ca:

  • America Online browser closes
  • Connection to America Online is lost
  • "Website not responding" messages appear

If you encounter difficulties of this nature, try changing your AOL multimedia player settings by selecting Settings, then Preferences, then Multimedia. When you have finished, clear the "Use the AOL Media Player for supported file types" option.

If this does not work, select Tools, then Options, then Network. Next, select HTTP as the only method for Microsoft Windows Media Player streaming.
