Keyword Search

Keyword Search boxes can be found at the top of most pages of our Software Store. Enter one or more keywords using any combination of the product name or category of the software product you seek. If you use more than one keyword, our search engine will restrict the results to products that match all the keywords you enter.

Here are some examples of searches using Keyword Search:

• Entering operating systems into the Keyword field finds all operating systems.
• Entering frontpage into the Keyword field finds all versions of FrontPage.
• Entering ocr into the Keyword field finds all optical character recognition software.

Restricting Your Search by Manufacturer, Platform, and Format

Care to further restrict your search by manufacturer, platform, or format? Click the Advanced Search link in the left of the top navigation bar of any Software page. Here are some examples of this type of search:

• Entering adobe in the Manufacturer field and "internet" in the Keyword field finds all Adobe packages that work with the Internet.
• Entering database and selecting Macintosh from the drop-down menu finds database software compatible with Macintosh computers.

We're sorry, but the only information we can give you about a particular item in our Software Store is what we display on the product detail page for that item.

Due to manufacturer restrictions, we are currently unable to ship computer software to destinations outside of Canada. Amazon.co.uk, however, does offer many software titles that can be shipped within the European Union. Please note that items ordered from the Amazon.co.uk site will be sent from their distribution centre in England.

We are not authorized to provide technical support for software that we sell. If you experience difficulties, we recommend that you call the phone number listed in the manual that came with the software package. If you have already contacted the software publisher and believe that the software you received from us is defective, please contact us so that we can arrange to replace the item.

Within 30 days of delivery of your shipment (including gifts), you may return any unopened (still in its plastic wrap) software to Amazon.ca, for any reason, for a full refund. We'll also refund the return shipping cost, if the return is the result of our error.

Please note that we cannot accept the return of opened items or items returned more than 30 days past delivery. We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased directly from Amazon.ca. We cannot exchange items.

If you ordered your software from an Amazon Marketplace seller, please be aware that if the item you purchased was sold in New condition, it can only be returned if it is defective. If you purchased software in Used condition, it can only be returned if it is materially different than described.
