Many big stars. All in bit parts. Movie gives a reasonable portrayal of the battles and who was running the show, from an American angle. Some artistic licence taken. In the end the Wehrmacht does not end up defending fortress Europe all that well, and is overwhelmed by the allies superior fire power...
