This is a rip roaring Western in the classic tradition and one of john Wayne best films. From the bar room brawls to the Indian chase scene to the wagon fight this movie has it all and doesn't stop for a minute. And for the early 1950's it does its best to be politically correct in its portrayal of the Indians (Remember it is still the 50's). this movie is in no way pedestrian and could hold its own against todays movie. Hondo Lane!!!
