I am an avid Dendrobium orchid grower. Absolutely love this book, there are few orchids books around that go this indepth into any genera of orchid keeping. It's good to see a detailed book which give plenty of cultural information on each species. I particularly liked the descriptions of the natural growing environments, it helps me with their cultural requirements so I can grow them in my glass house. This one is a most own book for any Dendrobium grower or any orchid show judge.

Being a student orchid show judge I need to familiarise myself with as many species as possible and I need a quick and easy reference book for that purpose. The Botanica book is superb, it has just enough cultural information to get me by and helps me gain knowledge of a larger range of orchid species than any other book in my collection. I do wish there was a little more cultural information on each species but this is the best on the market so far. I take it to my orchid shows and I can't recommend it highly enough for both the novice and experience orchid keeper.

He is not racist, he is showing us the level of racism that exists in this fine country as well as the other negative points that are sending the US down the tubes. All the great thinkers of any era have started out upsetting a few people and I think between Mike Moore and Peter Singer they are probably upsetting their fair share. I guess what I am trying to say is, that… Read more
