Super Sight-Reading Secrets: An Innovative, Step-B&hellip by Howard Richman

I am embarrassed that I actually bought this book of 48 pages without first examining it. I found no "super sight-reading secrets." In fact, I found nothing about reading music that I had not already learned from grade school music classes.
I did not find the following sort of advice especially useful:
"Get a book of all major and minor scales. Begin practicing all 24 major and minor keys."
"Play every note of the Bach Chorales hands alone, without looking, one octave displaced."

Digital Audio Processing (with CD-ROM)

I was enticed by the title and bought the book without first looking at it--a fifty-five dollar mistake! Doug Coulter probably knows digital audio processing. If you already know the subject, you probably won't want the book. If you're trying to learn the subject, you probably won't learn much of it here. Doug writes in the rambling chatty style of an old hand, but with many non-instructive, "It turns out that . . ." statements. If you are interested learning programming for audio processing in C++ for Windows, you may find the example code in the accompanying CD useful.
